Re: Octagonal mutoscope rarity?

Hi
Thanks for the information. Just out of interest, what does an original stand look like? I’ve seen pictures with square and round ones. Are these correct?

Re: eBay bargains, maybe

Hi Treefrog Glad you like what I’ve got done so far. The handle, as far as I can tell, is an older reproduction, and the reel tins I acquired off a spare mechanism I had. The cabinet was made by my dad's friend. I think he’s done a marvellous job of making it, as I dropped off what looked like a pil...

Re: eBay bargains, maybe

Hi This is how far I’ve got with the better one of the two War Eagles from Devon. It’s kept me busy during lock down. I’ve still got a bit to do and need your help. I have listed some of the parts I require in the wanted section. If anyone has any of these parts that they are willing to sell, let me...

F88BC958-38AD-42D9-9C16-A9F0A256DA00a.jpg Hi, I have recently bought this cast iron match vending machine and wondered if anyone had any better pictures of the front pieces that are missing, or a long shot, does anyone have the front pieces? I’ve had a look on the Elephant House website and the pic...

Re: Hi Top variant

Hi treefrog it's just the operator's sticker on the side. The lady who I bought it off told me she had bought it in the 1970s from Bath, so that makes sense with the sticker. I think it's been in storage for the last 20 years. Definitely going to keep it.

Re: Hi Top variant

Hi I bought the blue hi top from Leeds and have only just had time to have a proper good look at it. I have got a few questions about the castings and the inside of the cabinet. I took the award plate off and the casting is cut out behind it. Why would this be? Is it possibly for a light-up award ca...

Hi Chris, had a really enjoyable visit to your arcade on Wednesday, and my little girl absolutely loved playing on your machines, especially the Oliver Whales Have a Go. Glad she's caught the bug early, well worth a visit if you're in the area. !THUMBS!

Re: Cash box

Hi,
I just thought it was a bit unusual with the handle on it, and didn't know if it could be matched to a certain machine. I'm starting to think that it is just off a filing cabinet and it was used for storage.

Does anyone know if Watling Rol a Tops we're ever marketed to be sold in the UK or we're they mainly an American marketed machine, with a few been imported by arcade operators?

BM Co allwin

Hi have recently bought this attic fresh 24 cup BM Co and am after some information on a rough date of manufacture and how common are they to be on half penny play as a lot of machines I've seen are on penny. Would this make it older then a penny version of the same machine?
