Re: Getting started

I don't think he actually means "a working model" I think he wants something that's "in working order" to start out with, that maybe just needs a little TLC. A bandit, wall machine etc.

Re: Riviera Cashcendo advice

Payout slides removed and polished up (and kept in order)... Problem now is, it's not paying out. I've forced a few different wins and it seems the slides "jump" forward when the cycle is happening and stay forward. When they jump forward about 8 coins drop out (I have to release the hori...

Re: Waterslide decal paper for laser or inkjet printers

Hi slotsoffun, great video. Have been thinking of getting some Waterslide paper for a while now, but wasn't too sure about using it. After watching this, am definitely going to order some. Is there any difference between the brands of paper? How many coats of lacquer do you need to put on?

Re: Old Penny Memories Bridlington

Was there today, fabulous collection of machines and really fun to be able to have a go on them. Couldn't stay long, but really enjoyed the short visit. Was so busy, loads of people enjoying the games and machines. Hope you reopen somewhere soon, as would love to be able to view them again when not ...

Re: Jubilee jackpot mech

I contacted Henry Powell about some other bits I need (not knowing I also needed this bit) last week, but haven't heard back yet. Treefrog, maybe if some of them aren't complete, and they have any of the parts I need, would you be willing to sell the bits I need? Or if not maybe a complete one?

Re: Jubilee jackpot mech

Hi, thank you for the picture. I thought I must be missing something, as the right side just dropped coins everywhere. Will have a go at making something similar to the picture.

Re: Jubilee jackpot mech

Hi, thank you. I ran a few coins down and it wasn't jumping the hole. I then noticed I might not have cleaned it as good as I thought :woops: as there was still some muck in the chute. After cleaning this, it now jumps the hole. Just goes to show, I should have listened, and gave everything a GOOD c...

Re: Jubilee jackpot mech

Hi, sorry to keep asking loads of questions. Does any one know how it works or have a photo of the mechanism that alternates the coins to each of the jackpot Windows? I don't mean the the part that is connected to the wheel on the side, but the bit that lets the coin fall through the first hole or l...

Re: Jubilee jackpot mech

Ha ha, coppinpr, if you have to move a fortune teller and a duo-mat to get to your jubilee, You must have a lot of machines! Don't think I have the space to save as many as you! The other machine I have is a jubilee, not the same as this one, as it doesn't have the jackpot mech. (The one you helped ...

Re: Jubilee jackpot mech

Yep, the coin mech takes a sixpence fine, the reels spin fine, the payout slides payout, no lights, no bottom casting to cover the bottom or cash tray, think it might be missing the tiny tray under the jackpot mech (after intensive google image search) - loads of work to do, but I bought it as a pro...

Re: Jubilee jackpot mech

I'm no expert, only just started this hobby a few months back, but the reels match no payouts. Am sure these are just some random reel strips... Anyway here's a picture of the wreck I bought.... As you can see it is the original payout graphics, but someone has scratched half the graphics off to cha...

Re: Jubilee jackpot mech

OK update, was a bit fiddly getting some of the screws out, but managed to take the mech out. You were right, it is a lot easier to have a play and figure out how it works with it removed. I have got the gist of how it works. The first problem was the 2 sprung catches behind the first picture I post...
