The backflash was beyond repair so have had to replace that but otherwise all fittings seem to be original apart from a conversion at some time in the past to new pence - shame, as the original 1d slot i...

Re: R&W Wrigley's Chewing Gum allwin identified

Came across this old post while I was looking for examples of this machine. Reason was that I picked one up at the EH auction last year as pic attached (note the extra top flash) and have been trying to establish what original colours were on the backflash as it looks a bit faded. Just to confirm wh...

Re: Coventry Spring Auction 22nd March 2020

This is the last I heard from EH Auctions for 2020: Depending on building works, we hope to hold the first 'proper' auction around late March/April.............. Should building works be delayed , then as a contingency we may hold the auction at an alternative venue not too far from here. OK - proba...

Re: Replacement glass recommendations

Not one for the purists but when I had to replace a damaged glass front I had the glass cut to slightly thinner than the gap then used 2 sticky dots in top corners out of sight (cost 2.99 for 100 from Amazon). The glass then slides in and out without risk of scratching or sticking, but doesn't rattle.

Many Happy Returns

Just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction before I start dismantling my R & W Many Happy Returns machine. :smash: Has been working fine since I more or less finished tidying it up about 6 months ago but suddenly it has started sending out 2 balls instead of one, each time a coin ...
