Re: War Eagle at auction

I looked at the pics of the inside and it didn't look right to me, although I hasten to add that I DID NOT see it in person! For me, the casting look repro or they have been blasted. The base plate looked old and rusty, but the castings (from the inside) and the jackpot looked much cleaner than the ...

Re: vending machine

Did a close up - the machine is stamped 2004, so is 15 years old.
That shelf has either been bent down or needs adjstment/bending up or else the magazine needs lowering via some adjustment screws on the backplate that I can just about make out!

Re: vending machine

I have taken a closer look at your pic. I could be wrong, but, that's an awfully large gap at the bottom which suggests you are vending the large boxes on their sides?? These machines were designed to vend a pack of no more than 1 inch high. I would imagine a large Tic Tac box on its side would be d...

Re: vending machine

Blimey, that's a blast from the past, I used to sell those years ago! Did you modify it to take the new £1 coin? These were designed to vend Wrigleys Extra Mints in the long tubes. They stopped doing those mints last year and only do them in macthbox size boxes, I believe?? This magazine is too wide...

Re: bit of good news for once from ebay

Well done Keith!! **xXx**
I never knew this, just been and changed my settings.
I wonder if the relentless loss of customers to facebook/ amazon has got anything to do with it??

Re: Don't give too much away...

Well, well, well, thanks for pointing that out. So how do I lock down my profile? Are you telling me you know where I live just by looking on my facebbok feed? I am shocked, pm me if you wish. Your feedback is much appreciated. I have never looked to see what others can see whilst viewing FB, so wha...

Re: Don't give too much away...

Yes, that's the problem, this forum is open to anyone, not like a closed group like some of those on Facebook. Lots of crooks will surely come from ponds they lurk to come and view the wonderful machine pics being uploaded to this very forum. I know some on here have terrific collections, but can yo...

Re: Annoying ebay listing

I agree, makes browing a real chore. These things are nearly always short lived and a direct result of some of the ridiculous free listing days eBay seem quite fond of. :smash: :smash: :smash: I remember it used to be those Bloody Cardboard and Balsa wood model arcade machines. pages and pages of em...

Re: Unusual Cherry symbols on a Mills Extraordinary

The actual cherry itself looks totally different to a Mills cherry.
Are these authentic Mills strips?
Also Gameswat, not sure what the post about the Extrabell means??
Don't mean to sound ungrateful, but cannot see the connection with my original post. Sorry, you lost me. !PUZZLED! !PUZZLED!

Unusual Cherry symbols on a Mills Extraordinary

Can anyone shed any light on the origins of these strips?
It is on an Extraordinary with a single cherry pay.
The mech is stamped MLB but I think the mech is maybe from a later model.
Anyone know when Mills started the single cherry pays 2 machines?
