Re: Sega Progressive Star coin meter

There has to be a way to reset that. So, if by chance it hit 9999 and jackpot happens that is 2 and a half quid plus 249 quid old money hand pay, a small fortune in the day. No doubt the owners would regularly nobble this cause quite a risky payout for them. Also having a guess, i think this machine...

Re: Bingolette and Duomat

I have a Rialto; pretty much the same as a Bingolette. It's a fantastic fun machine to play. One of the late Harold English's machines, so carefully looked after and made good. It's a 10 German pfennig play, which is great as 20p coins work perfect. Out of all my machines it's the one that visitors ...

Re: BRENCO Wheel of Fortune

And here's one workin:

Note the predictability of the game-play. At my local arcade in the 70s the Wheel of Fortune always stopped on 6d after lose, so constantly milked it.

And don't forget the amazing cleaning power of good old ladies hairspray too! God knows what it does to their hair. I've used it so far for ink pen leaking in daughter's pocket all over her i-phone. Lifted ink off instantly with one spray and wipe. Ink on my wife's coat, lifted ink of the fabric lea...

Re: Bally coin mech.

I'm going down to Pagham Beach next Saturday on an errand. I will ask Dean at the amusements (if he's open), whether he has any penny mechs kicking about as he operates the gold award machines with token payout. Although he's on the 2p coinage on all his Ballys they have been operating since the ear...

This would do you, and no, it's not my listing. They will play and pay out correctly. The amount just right too, roughly about 80 for the coin tube and the rest for play and to fill your JP.

Re: Jubilee Rivera

You would likely keep its value by retaining it on 2p if you wanted to sell it later on. Some people do like the idea of having a money box in the house and play with coinage in their pocket which is why conversions of Aristocrats etc on 10p/20p seem to sell rather quickly and good prices on ebay.

Re: Current List of Old Penny Arcades

Yes Rebel, he has quite a few that are not working and this unfortunately is down to the fact his father Joe was the mechanic behind the fixing and would transplant transformers and parts to make a good working machine. They actually used to supply and service Butlins in the late sixties and early s...

Re: Current List of Old Penny Arcades

Okay, well it's not strictly an old penny arcade but you can find the following machines in this arcade.' Pagham Beach Amusements PO21 3FA' Is run by Dean. His father Joe passed away a few years back and they were in the trade since the '50s. Six Bally Gold Award bandits paying out the gold award fo...
