Re: Burstow and Hewlett Sale

I was at the auction, and I was surprised with the condition of the items. I know the Lone star is very rare, but it was in a bit of a state, and Im sure there were parts missing inside. The "Seeburg ice hockey table" was in a right state. The goals were missing and blocked up, so the ball never wen...

Re: Challenging Bradley Challenger

I had the same problem, but I did manage to get it all back together. As far as I can remember they have to go in order. The long thin lever next to the chute you are putting back needs to be in the correct position, so the brass bit goes onto the cut out of the chute. Once you have done one the res...

Re: Eastbourne auction

I was at the auction. I bought the Sega/Mills Lucky horseshoe, lot 145. It is all working now, and it's really cleaned up inside now. I've got a mate who is sorting the electrical bits out. I just need to sort the paint out. Yes, it was full of dead spiders and all sorts of muck. I was suprised how ...

Re: Mills or Sega Lucky horseshoe???

Thanks treefrog, I thought it was a mish mash of both Sega and Mills. I bought it at Eastbourne auction for £270. I have seen more than one white Mills Lucky Horseshoe that has been restored, but they were a little different to my one. I guess a lot of machines had parts swapped and rebuilt, so it i...

Mills or Sega Lucky Horseshoe???

Hello, I have just got hold of this Lucky horseshoe bandit, and I was wondering if anyone can tell me is it Mills, or is it Sega? It was sold to me as a Sega Lucky Horseshoe, but Im not sure that it is a Sega. On the first reel there are horseshoes on every friut/bar. I have looked online and all I ...

Tips on stripping and repainting a Mills bandit?

I have recently bought a Mills Hi Top Blue Bell, and it really needs repainting. It looks like someone has had a go at stripping off the old paint, but gave up at some point. What would be the best way of removing the rest of the old paint? Rubbing it down, paint stripper, or is there another way to...

Re: Can anyone tell me anything about this allwin?

I will keep the backflash that came with it, and I will put it behind the one I'm replacing it with. I have taken a photo of the backflash, and my daughter is doing some work on it using Photoshop. I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

Re: Can anyone tell me anything about this allwin?

Thanks for the replies, I really appreciate it. Yes you are right, at some time it must have had a variable payout. After removing the backflash ( which is hand painted ) I found the numbers 2 and 4 above the ball gallery. IMG_8039a.jpg The halfpipe has holes cut into four of them, so the ball will ...

Can anyone tell me anything about this allwin?

Topic moved - Site Admin. I'm very new to this but I have just bought a few machines at Elephant House auction, and I was wondering if anyone can help me identify this allwin machine. It's in a bit of a state, but I bought it to restore. I have only taken pics of the door, but the case is not much ...
