Re: Little Whirl-Wind
hi there fredlilja. i bought a few of these replicas called 'whizballs' that look very similar to yours. i have included the short history that accompanied my purchase. I also bought a 'baseball' model that seems to partner these. These replicas are prone to fine-tuning needs/ hope yours runs smooth...

Re: Steer a Ball - only not the usual!
Badpenny, I have seen reference to the 'Candle Factory' a couple of times now but cannot Google anything about it. Can you give me any more info, like website please? I have also tried finding the magazine AAM on the net but it doesn't appear in any detail. Again, any more info would be appreciated,...

Re: Restoration of 3 Sixes
This shows my partner, the 'Shoot to the Stars', that is about to get the restoration treatment. Any time in the next year or so... Although since discovering this site I have found new enthusiasm. Anyone seen these things before?

Re: What is your dream machine?
This one is in Sydney, if you really want one jimmycowman!! He recently had it on ebay but I lost touch with it. I bought a machine from this guy some time ago and he has a Conveyor amongst the other items he was thinning out due to divorce! In the meantime, just be happy with a picture I suppose. P...

Re: 285 members ..... Hello! where are you?
I understand your frustration badpenny and will do my best to contribute to this forum as i have found it most interesting in the short time on-board. I have a reasonable collection (can never have a large one or that would create selling pressure!) and i've learned a little along the way, but i'm n...

Re: What is your dream machine?
What an easy topic and such a good vehicle to express my simple desires. I would like to have a DELUXE allwin that I recall as a kid. With elaborate scroll work in shiny metal and green felt or velvet backing (if my childhood memory is correct). But wait....... there's more. How could my collection ...

Re: Arcades, Museums & Gamerooms
Hey coin-op, that was brilliant.. What a great collection. Pity that no bugger was really playing them. A few fiddlers. Wouldn't it be brilliant to see the place shoulder to shoulder with punters!! Thanks for the video.

Re: restoration of penny flick game
Thanks for the vote of confidence with this resto. I will attack the other similar machine with same technique. They should look quite good together. As for history, no - don't know a thing about it. Didn't even know it was a BM Co. make... So thanks. Any idea of the age of this? I suppose it is ear...

Restoration of 3 Sixes
This was my first attempt at restoration last year, and I would like some opinion from fellow restorers, knowledgeable folk. Have I gone too far in its new appearance? I did buy some more brass plate to replace the back-plate but thought it detracted too much, even though the original is badly scour...

Re: Wall vending machine with rotating pins
I have one of these.. 1928 stamped on faceplate. It has wooden tokens that are dispensed when you have a win, with, 'PENNY MACHINE CO., SANDGATE' stamped on them. Must be a token that was exchanged for a prize instead of a packet?? of cigarettes maybe! Lovely condition - so nice to see another one.

museums & collections

One day i will re-visit the UK and would like to see some of the collections of arcade games that must be there. i have about 20 gam...

Re: Allwin payout slide mechanism
Howdy and welcome to the forum. Suggest you post two photos. One of the playfield, so we can more easily identify the manufacturer and model. One of the mechanism so we can see exactly what is missing. I (like many of us) have boxes full of rusty bits ..... errrr .... I mean ...... valuable, never ...
