Re: BMCo 7 cup

Thanks - there are some small, filled holes on the top suggesting a top flash was fitted originally or at some point.

Essex Football & Ahrens Great Polo Game identified

I’m trying to ID these two football/polo games. They are in a right state and not been viewed in person but I'm tempted to take a look. It looks like originally the players kicked individually maybe? Could look really pretty if sorted but doesn’t anyone know in info about the game? Maker? Prob is I ...

BMCo Little Marvel identified

Haven't done much machine-wise for a few months as been busy. And have no space for another! But when I came across this beauty I couldn't resist. I believe it's a BMCo 7 cup from the 20s/30s. but someone my know more. Looks very unmolested apart from I assume the locks being changed at some point. ...

Re: Groetchen Twenty One

Hi Jason I've got two of these machines, one of which I’ve restored and the other still in the queue. They are lovely things and great fun to play. Sadly I suspect you’ll be lucky to find the parts you need short of finding a complete but tatty game to buy and swap the parts from. You might be able ...

Re: Table football

Thanks for the info. It looks like the top belongs with the bottom but haven’t looked that carefully yet.

Yes it’s coin op. Takes some sort of token.

Table football

Hi I’ve just been asked to do some light restoration and an option to buy this table football game. I don’t have a make or year but understand it might be Italian. These are totally outside my field and I wouldn’t have space to hold onto it for a long time, but it is a lovely piece. Or will be when ...

Thanks. Yes I’ve got into collecting them for exactly that reason - don’t need too much space. And yes, I love the look of a lot of the Daval ones. I’m still looking for. Penny Pack!

Daval Freeplay

Another restoration completed. Daval Freeplay 1940’s. Unusual in that it had Freeplay reel which allows you to accumulate up to 70 free plays which were won for winning combinations. Either play the Freeplays off instead of inserting coins or get the show owner to trade them for money or goods. He t...

Re: Daval Reel 21 trade stimulator

Yes it was actually marbles I tested it with. I think I prob need around 16mm. I guess ball bearings would be easiest but not very colourful.

Daval Reel 21 trade stimulator

I imported this as a box of bits from a guy in the USA. Just finished sorting and assembling. Tis a thing of beauty.
Does anyone know what size gumball these take?. Mine are 13mm and just run straight through. Too small.

Re: Wall mounting slot machines

Although I haven’t tried it out yet I’ve given some thought to a French cleat which I think would work pretty well with the same thickness batten fixed to the bottom of the allwin to keep it perpendicular to the wall. You could fix a length to the wall and position anywhere along it? Excuse the pri...

Re: Mounting wall machines

Only an idea off the top of my head, but could these not be adapted? Small slots cut in the back of the machine (two per machine) would mean minimal damage to the machine, slightly straightening the hook so it hangs straight and adding another lower bar to even out the hanging angle. One benefit wo...

Mounting wall machines

Topic moved & merged - Site Admin. I’m about to move a few wall machines and am thinking about the best way to mount them. I’m considering a long metal bar horizontal and spaced slightly off the wall. Then attaching a couple of ‘hooks’ to each machine to hang them on the bar. I believe the same...
