Re: Allwin Punch and Judy keys

If the front fits inside the case (as most allwins) the lock usually only goes a couple of millimetres into the case side and you can usually use a suitable lever/wedge between front and case to make a big enough gap to ‘spring ‘ the case open without doing any damage.

Another One Finished

Bryans Clock bought in the first of the Elephant House sales.

Rebuilt and re-polished case
New graphics (big thanks to resource section on here and help with sorting downloads)
New front panel
Mechanism cleaned, serviced and repaired

Now works perfectly and pays out correctly.

Re: Treasure Cave (Elephant Gift Vender)

Bought mine about 18 months ago, rebuilt the mechanism onto a new base board as original planks had warped and split. Also updated electrics as originals were lethal.

It’s working now but still got to restore the outside.

Re: Hello From The Worlds First Garden City

Thank you - I think every machine I’ve worked on has had a different challenge so building a good knowledge base and re-learning some old skills - and gaining a few new ones !!!

Hello From The Worlds First Garden City

Having been involved in various forms of engineering most of my life I had to give up my job running an engineering company a couple of years ago as I have Parkinson’s and it got too bad for me to continue. Last year I deci...
