Re: What did I buy?
I paid £75 for the machine and my plan is to restore it. The mech appears to be in good condition and works as it should. I guess (as you said) that my biggest problem will be the backbonnet. I have found a workshop here in Sweden that made a backdoor for one of my Buckley machines at a cost of £75....

Re: What did I buy?
Thanks for your answers.
As usual the back door and back bonnet are missing.
Guess they're pretty expensive and hard to find?

What did I buy?
Thought I bought a Sega Bell but when I searched online it looks like some parts come from a Mills.
Can anyone guide me right?

Re: Handle hard to pull
Thanks for very clear answers.
However, I was probably a little unclear when I explained.
The handle is smooth, it's the mech that is harder than before to cycle.
Also, I've learned since joining this forum never to use grease. The only thing I use is 3-in-1 oil.

Handle hard to pull
I have a slightly odd (and possibly stupid) question. Over the last three years I have restored several old one-armed bandits (mostly Buckleys, Aristocrats and Ascots). However, I would like to add that I still see myself as an amateur and a beginner in the subject. I have dismantled all my machines...

Broken bottom slide
The bottom slide seems to be broken at the front.
Is that something affecting the function?

Re: Buckley kicker question
So if I bend the added kicker extension back in line with the kicker, that could solve the problem?

Buckley kicker question
Now I've disassembled the mechanics probably 10 times, but I still can't get the reels to spin as they should. Since the kicker was worn out, I (after this picture was taken) welded on some material and sanded the kicker, but with the same result. And now to my question. I know the kicker's function...

"Coin entry" for my Buckley
Hello again. I'm making another attempt to get a 25 cent "coin entry" (don't know the correct name in English) for my Buckley Criss Cross. At least that's what I think I'm looking for. The coins/tokens I use have a diameter of 23.4mm so I think a 5 or 10 cent coin entry will be too small. ...

Sheerline or Starlite?
Can anyone tell if this is a Sheerline or Starlite?
If you look at the front, it says Sheerline, but from the pictures I've seen online there are Starlites that looks about the same.
Anyone who knows?

Re: Bad chrome
The hole where I put the coin is has a diameter of about 23,5 mm.
Don't know if that is 5c, 10c or 25c?

Found this one on eBay in the US.
Problem is they do not ship to Sweden.
Guess I'll have to keep on searching here in Sweden or maybe the UK.

Re: Bad chrome
I used an angle grinder to sand off the rust and then a polishing wheel to get a good surface on the metal.
The result was OK, I think.
Now all that is missing is the front trim and the back door. Anyone know where I can find that?
