Re: Sega Mad Money actuator jumps out of location, ideas?
I think you have the wrong slides, as your award is set for 3 slides of varying sizes. The slides your shared all look the same size, a very common setup for decimal conversions on machines like Aristocrats. Jackpot parts are tough to get. You need the reset bar, the trip on top of the slide stack, ...

Re: Sega Mad Money actuator jumps out of location, ideas?
As long as the cradle (master slide) holds back the slides above, if a little short it should not matter. If the top slide is not reset with the cradle, then it is too short. Your slides are unusual for a Sega machine. I assume it is 10 coin payout with 2 coin variation for each win with 5 slides. W...

Re: Arthur Burrows
Hello Jonno, Although I did not know personally anyone associated with Burrows, my first ever post on this forum was answered by a user “Burrowautomatics” 13 years ago, a fountain of knowledge and seemed to helpfully help others with information and parts, that was Michael Jordan who sadly passed aw...

Re: Sega Mad Money actuator jumps out of location, ideas?
Your post started regarding an issue with the slide reset bar lifting out away from the slide deck. The order of the slides would not affect this unless something was jamming the slides moving forward. Are they freely moving? Also, from one of your pictures it looks like the master slide is too shor...

Re: New Reel Tins
The reel tins should be the same for Sega as well as Mills machines. As such, many bundles have come up for sale at collectors auctions. I remember at the Derby sales there were lots of bundles there and one person bought most of them - Roger. in Norfolk. who used to sell all the spares at Coventry ...

Looking from the rear of the mechanism where this lever goes through the back, it should be held down by a guide cover with two screws. Share a picture from the rear to confirm, if this is missing this lever will jump out

Re: eBay bargains, maybe
Well Bedbug you have done an amazing job so far and castings look great given condition. Are they the original reel tins and handle? One part that will be a challenge as I know of two other U.K. collectors who have in the past been chasing for rear hoods for War Eagles. I have a half top spare, but ...

Re: Two Handan-Ni games
Hello, As no one has responded already, those machines look like they have been heavily restored and maybe not original cases and top marque. Below is one that sold at the elephant in 2018 for £580 and no manufacturer was mentioned, but in Arcadia book by Jean-Claude Beudof there is a very pretty on...

Re: 50 years today
Of all the changes people grumble about this one made so much sense. We really would have been in the dark ages if we had stuck with a non decimal system for payment and of course this had nothing to do with Europe and had been considered many times over the decades. Also all other places like Austr...
