Re: Duo-Mat machine on 6 pence

As a matter of interest, does it say 6D anywhere on the machine or awards. The Awards cards look fairly new, but difficult to read and look like it states it only pays 1 coin for the red and black and single increments for other awards up to 5. This would suggest that a single coin per slide, very u...

Re: Aristocrat Clubman & Clubmaster

Just thought I would do a bit of an update on the timeline of the Aristocrat history. I was always very confused by the machine mentioned in the timeline Mr PM created with the New Clubman, as it looked the same as the Clubman. I then noticed there is a picture posted by Gameswat in the resources of...

Re: Vintage Slots in Films and Newsreels

What a lovely newsreel. It has a feel from an earlier era than 1983. As probably mentioned before, it is always a shame when the history of machines disappears as I doubt many that still exist will have providence passed on or remembered. What a great lady she was. !!THUMBSX2!!

Re: Duo-Mat machine on 6 pence

Most of the German machines I have seen from this period, especially Duomats were on 10 pfennigs, not 1 pfennigs. The 10 pfennig is larger than a sixpence about 21.7mm and thicker. I remember Harold English when doing up his imported German machines would make them 20p machines as this was closed to...

Re: Sailor wineasy

There is one in the Wineasies list in the Arena, possibly posted by Bob. I am sure PM will confirm or one of our remaining Aussie colleagues, but one must assume Australian by source.

Looks cool, if slightly creepy. !!THUMBSX2!!
