Re: Bally Gay Cruise running on unusual coin

I'm sure some will have, but I've never seen a slot running on a 1/2np. I was working in a cash business when decimalisation came in and on day one I was sent to the bank for the week's change. This included 2 bags of half NP. We never ever used those two bags. In fact, one bag was untouched when t...

That’s a great story and a lovely looking machine. Like you, I have never seen the “Go Go Girl” themed Sega. Was the machine bought new in 1972? It certainly looks like it from your photos.

Re: LOCK DOWN TIME!

Indeed. Seems a tad pricey. Supply and demand I guess. If indeed it actually sold for that amount. Frequently they are just bid-up, I would suggest. I’m looking forward to the next slottie auction, although I fear it is going to be some while. Prices will be interesting. I’m guessing they will be al...

Re: Jennings Governor... Price?

Thought provoking BadPenny. I always thought the castings were aluminium but several posts refer it to being mazak. I am not worldly wise in such matters but your adventures in chroming seem to be similar to many others. I had no idea of your previous experience with BR. I did have the name of the c...
