Re: Mills Hi Top

I've had a few 50c/1D Hi Tops. Nearly all missing the jackpot. Like TF, I have only the one complete 50c jackpot. I agree with Daveslot that there are 50c Hi Top casting sets where the lower front casting is deeper and the top front casting is different to "normal", so it fits this deeper lower cast...

Re: Bally Gay Cruise running on unusual coin

Supposedly, but I have no idea if true? "Successive prime ministers and governments didn't want to be associated with the killing off of the nation's favourite lucky sixpence coin." So stayed in circulation till Maggie Thatcher was briefed if she killed the tanner off, then the treasury stood to gai...

Re: Gambling Machines

Think I woke half the street up when I played that jp video at 5.30am this morning.... Great to see these big old beasts up and running though, so well done and thanks for the videos. You sometimes don't realise when you buy an old em game how much noise they generated on site compared to the same n...

Re: Bally Gay Cruise running on unusual coin

I think the bally machine with the rosette reelstrip symbols you are thinking of with horse racing theme may have been called county/country fair? and think was maybe more showjumping than
horse racing?

Re: Aristocrat Arcadian

20200409_170935a.jpg As others have posted, this mechanism and cabinet combination, like many others, looks to have had maybe not 9 lives, but more than one at least. As TF says, it's very unlikely that the reel strips and reel bundle were installed into an Arcadian model by the factory. The reel s...

Re: Sega Bell Slot Lucky Devil Restoration

Can you confirm that the first steel plate that when rotated through all 20 positions only has one hole that aligns in front of the three bars vertical payout lever position? When I say this, I mean regardless of the reelstrip combination shown on the reels. When you cycle the mechanism and manually...

Re: Silver Jubilee

Nobody rang the number yet to see if anyone answers it?

The telephone number blanks off usual 777 and mystery payout spaces on the award card. If we see a pic of the mech out of the cabinet it will answer if 777 gold award mech parts are present/removed or just replaced by another mech.
