!!IDEA!! If you get stopped by plod I'm sure they will be understanding enough to realize that you are going to the Black Country to collect vital supplies (e.g. a High Top bandit handle). Make sure you are wearing a mask to complete the ruse.

No need to rush BP. I have just disabled the device on my elevenses and done plenty of banging on the front both whilst on and off the wall, tilting the machine too. No free payouts for me. :cry: When in situ the unit has the correct operation but it seems like it was ten bob's worth of nothing.

I put 45 balls in my post of March 13th,2014 under the heading 'What's My Line', but due to a typo/memory loss put 35 this time. !!UHOH!! Elizabeth pennies, as in our queen, were the latest old pennies to be minted and as such should be the least worn in terms of thickness.

Ball dimensions of the Fill Em Up and similar machines have been discussed before. My machine didn't have any balls and I put 35 in at 9/16 inch diameter on the thought that being British they are most likely to be imperial. It works perfectly but I believe others have had success with close metric ...

Paul C wanted to know the address of Bernard Brenner - it was 374 London Road, Croydon. My father had a publishing business in London Road, close to this address in the 1950s/60s.

A one arm bandit seemingly freely available to play by buying tokens from the corner shop owner in 1926.Not heard of that before in the UK.
