Re: Temple’s Penny Arcade Trailer Project

Thanks 😀 The Octopus took the most coins, followed by the Mills bandits. The Pilwin was more popular than the Elevenses. It’s all very interesting really. It depends on the position of the machines. Also had multiple jams throughout the weekend caused by people putting new pennies in the slots or m...

Re: More Money than Brains....

I am not sure it matters where an auction house is when you have a country as big as the US. The important thing is the service, quality of lots submitted and reputation. I have seen the US collectors moan on the Facebook groups, but collectors moan about every auction house. Look at everyone who m...

Re: More Money than Brains....

Morphy's have had nothing but bad feedback from customers about pulling out of Vegas. They use the reasoning that the Vegas site was not cost effective to run, but it should have been worth them subsidising it to keep it there longer. There was a noticeable decline in attendance over recent years as...

Re: Temple’s Penny Arcade Trailer Project

If you had some ( suitably painted up) attachable shelves, that brought the platform the machines stand on outside of the pillars all the way around the trailer, then you then could fit 6 machines along both sides and 3 machines acros...

Re: Ice Hockey table players' sticks cut down?

The steel ones seem to cause quite a lot of damage long-term.

Re: Ice Hockey table players' sticks cut down?

Non steel balls are the best way to go. I find the best ice hockey tables to operate (from the point of view of preventing balls piling up in the goals and failing to all release), are the Cromptons tables which have a deeper goal and run problem free.

Re: Ice Hockey table players' sticks cut down?

I can take pics, but not until tomorrow now. There is usually damage caused by the steel balls, but you can prevent this by using Teflon balls that are problem free. Most casinos use Roulette balls that are Teflon nowadays as they don't bounce as much and are easier for the punter to predict, so the...

Re: Temple’s Penny Arcade Trailer Project

That's a better version of the Clock for taking money. I forgot to mention, the optimum operating height for old penny machines is 29 inches off the ground (to the base of the machine), otherwise kids have to be lifted up all the time. As it looks like yours may be higher, you could have a removable...
