Re: Rollite Products Ltd.

Peter, look at Keys Auctions in Norfolk, July 2022. Looks like your machine.
Hammer price £40. Bargain, if nothing was missing.

I think we all miss live in person auctions, and I would sooner inspect before buying, but I can’t see Steve resurrecting them.

Re: Rollite Products Ltd.

I was interested in the machine when it came up for auction.
But like others thought it must have a joystick missing, which I assumed would be impossible to find.
Now I am kicking myself for not bidding.
Good luck with your project.

Re: Woodbank Nurseries Old Penny Arcade

Arrgee this arcade is one of the best. A good variety of machines, some very rare. Bryan’s Penny Go Round, Myers’s Road Test, many working models, Shoot Hitler, an Ahrens Bubbles (currently not working), Skee Ball, Genco Hoops, along with the usual cranes , allwins, bandits, etc. All on old Penny. I...

Re: EH / Collector Connector sales

I think everyone would like to go to these auctions on the day.
To socialise with other like minded collectors.
But it would require extra staff for Steve and additional costs.

Bargain. I wonder who bought it? Are they on this forum?
Mr PM you must have good search software, or you spend all your time trawling your computer.
Thank you.

Very interesting document.
But very concerning regarding the asbestos found in the machine!

Re: Ruffler & Walker allwin 24 winning cup

I have a Oliver Whales 24 cup in desperate need of a back flash.
If you have one made is it possible to put a copy in resources.
Or I could split any costs for the art work.

And the alloy main bracket with metal rot.

Re: Bonzini Bord de Seine crane

I think we all agree the picture backdrop looks far better than a mirror.
As Mr PM found, Bonzini produced some 1st class football tables after they ceased crane production.
My mahogany cabinet looks rather plain compared to the ornate carved versions.
But very pleased with it now it’s working.

Bonzini Bord de Seine crane

I have a 1930s Bonzini Bord de Seine crane. I purchased from Mr PM a couple of years ago. After making a new main bracket (the old one had gone to “cheese”) and other parts it is now working and, along with Moonriver's tip of blue tack on the grab, it’s delighting the grandchildren, with a prize eve...

Re: Operator dilemma: old Pennies or Tokens?

I call at Moonriver's arcade regularly. It’s in a very nice garden centre, in a very nice part of Yorkshire.
He charges £1 for 6 old pennies. He has a large and varied collection of machines, including working models and cranes (with blue tack on the grab so you win a prize 50% of the time).
