Bryan’s Clock Hands

Hope someone can help. I’ve got a 12 stop Bryan’s clock with jackpot. It’s had a replacement hour hand at some point, which I’ve removed. Trouble is I need a replacement, or a template as to the dimensions so I can make one. My second question, was it normal for the hour hand to be soldered to the b...

Re: Anyone identify this ?

Umm, why exactly do you need to replace it? Looks great to me. Better to have a nice old plastic a little aged than modern repro of it. You keep saying you want to find the appropriate backflash, that's it. And having never seen another exactly like this makes your game stand out, so nobody will ha...

Re: Anyone identify this ?

That would appear to be the artwork for it! Sometimes you'll find remnants of green felt glued underneath, indictating a later refurbishment. But by later 30's into 40's they were making them new with solid plastic backflashes like this. Thanks, I need to replace the back flash, so was trying to id...

Anyone identify this ?

Can anyone identify this Allwin type machine ? Just after a name and a manufacturer.

Also, I've looked in Resources to see if there is any artwork for it, but without a name its difficult to search.

Thanks

Dave

Re: BMR bandit - cleaning and parts questions

BMR and BDR machines are great machines. A mechanism like no other, British designed and built and will last for an eternity, very over engineered compared to the usual vertical wheel mechanisms. I stripped mine down to bare components and it’s quite easy to do, just lots of nuts and bolts really. T...

No, whenever anyone learns of an auction they keep it to themselves rather than let everyone know, so that they have less competition when the bidding starts.

Re: Hello New Member from Essex UK

I’ve visited and met Henry a few times and he’s a lovely guy with a wealth of experience. His family used to run the arcades in Whitley Bay so he’s been working on machines all his life. He will supply you a fully restored working machine at a price. If you visit him you might even manage to persuad...

Groetchen Pikes Peak

I’m looking to see if anyone has the long bolts that connect the Pikes Peak top to the base. If not, then does anyone know what thread it is? I’m suspecting 3/16 UNC, but need confirmation if possible.

Is it me?

Is it me, or is there actually something rare about this machine?

Ridiculously low prices unless there was something wrong with them. Shame I never knew about it. People do keep these things to themselves don’t they.

I’ll take one too, or I’m quite happy to do my own photoshopping, if you can provide a scan.

Re: Jennings 8 ball special with free play feature

I see what you're saying Dave. But how does the player know if they have a free play? I can't see anything on the reels to tell you. The gap in the escalator only appears because you've pulled the handle. I'm imagining you put your coin in, pull the handle, but the escalator holds your coin back. T...
