Topic merged - Site Admin. I'm offered a Mastermatic 'Master Football Game' for £250. I don't know much about these. I have two recollections about it from the time; namely not playing it, and thinking that the coin mech. appears to be from a bubblegum vendor. Has anyone played one? What's the game...

It actually takes threepenny bits, rather than three individual pennies.
These are the machines I look out for, never having had the funds to play them until the late '60s, when Crompton's Threepenny Derby came out.
I'm still narrowly avoiding these Wulff types; I know that once I buy the first one...

I haven't even had the mech out of the case yet. I should imagine the vertical fingers do something electrical. The hopper has an electric eye counting the coins going out. Talk about making things difficult. The all-mechanical Aristo mech looks like it might fit the console cabinet, if I start gett...
