Re: Brenner "Ball Past The Arrow"

Hi, did all ball past the arrow machines have a number scratched into them somewhere which could identify when they were built?

Bought this machine today, never seen one until today apart from a photo. Looks to be in great condition. Happy with it.

Re: Jamieson’s Easy Push

Attention to detail and date, is the answer, for me anyway. I had spoken to Stacey’s and had a condition report on machine, Tried to tie it in with picking up a machine in Slough, time completely slipped through and I found myself trying to register on the Tuesday after the auction for the following S...

Re: Flatten a plastic backflash

Glass will not shatter if it’s toughened glass. Same as oven doors. The plastic I tried to flatten was only 75mm x 50mm and thicker than a sheet of clear backflash. It got hot in electric oven all over enough for me to change its shape. Took about 5 repeated easing into shape but now it’s OK to go b...

Re: Duomat problem

When I turn the handle after the clicks both wheels go round .They stop in the right sequence and the payout slide moves back to where it was before play about 5/6mm to right. This happens without having put any money in. When I put 1p in to play it drops through to the reject slot.If I bypass the Cr...

Re: Duomat problem

Thanks for your help. In the first photo, just to the right of the silver looking coin chute, is a short piece of metal attached to a spring that fits in the third hole down. It's being held up by a rod. How do I get the rod to go down? On the back of the handle there is a rod that is touching the c...

Re: Duomat problem

I’m not sure what coin to use. When I've put 1p in it doesn't affect the use of machine. I can use the handle any time and the roulette wheels work. There doesn't seem to be a break that shuts the game off until you put a coin in. Maybe there's something missing from the back of the handle that rotat...

Duomat problem

I have a 1959 Duomat machine. It looks good from the outside with the nice mirrored front. On the front it say 10pf and the coinslot is small enough to fit 1np or 6d. When I turn the handle both wheels go round. I think there is either a part missing or broken off. Please see photos. Also all instru...

Re: Flatten a plastic backflash

Thanks for replies. The plastic is only 3 x 2 inches in size so I wanted to heat the whole of it evenly to get flexibility as it had twisted both ways and had a crack in it. I considered using a heat gun but thought it would be too intense. This piece of plastic has a picture on it and I wasn't sure...

Flatten a plastic backflash

Topic merged - Site Admin. I have a Fireworks. To cover the hammer there is a decorative piece of plastic on the front of the box held by two screws. Over many years of existence the plastic has twisted and cracked so badly the hammer won't work. The only answer I could come up with was to place it...

Re: Michael Harris Snr. A great Loss

About 4 or 5 years ago I bought my first bandit from Mick an aristocrat 4 reeler. I went to see him twice and he had great knowledge of machines. Most things went over my head being a novice. He still gave me his time. This was a great experience for me as I didn’t know of anyone else who was involv...
