Re: Slot Market News 86-91

Wonder what happened to all those old machines? Hope they're all out there, in someone's collection.

Jamieson Automatics Starlet restoration

Topic split & moved from Jamieson Automatics Starlet Information manual V1.1 - Site Admin. Well, thanks to Dickywink, I've now got my Autofruit working. There were a few loose wires, & a couple of old light switches & an extra relay, which I presume was some sort of payout limiter, so I...

Re: Electro-mechanical Wall Machines

The wiring diagram would be a great help to me. I've got an Autofruit, which is almost identical to your machine, that needs a rewire.

Anyone remember, a few years ago, when the Hand Cranked Pleasures auction was knobbled because someone reported it to the GC?
Not saying it's related, but....

Often, the inside of the damper is all crudded up too. Strip it down & clean it out & make sure the rubber diaphragm is OK.

Re: Bell Fruit Three Penny Supreme

I've done a few pinball backglasses, that were like that. You need to spray it withh a clear lacquer, (Wilco's do a good one). It won't mater about the oil, unless it's really thick. Spray a couple of coats from about 12" away, then carefully press the flakey bits down onto the tacky paint. Whe...

That looks great. I've restored a couple of those myself, they seem to be quite popular in this country.

The main reason I don't post, is I don't know anything!
Actually, I'm OK with EM pinball machines, but there doesn't seem to be many owners on here,
