There should be two versions: with a difficult bullet loading system, and with a "gun" which shoots a long metal bolt at the target. There was also a non-coin operated version for home use only. Version on your postcard seemed to be with "bolt". I only knew two machines with bolt...

The "two casting bars" are a separate frame which could be used on Liberty Bell type top castings. It's marked with "MLB 1773".
