Re: What the Butler Saw - info please

There is no shortage of stereoview cards on ebay covering every genre. Standard stereoview cards measure 7 inches by 3 1/2 inches and individual photos vary a bit but about 3 inches square. Re: 50 years today

Tyres are measured with the diameter in inches and the rest in metric??

Motorcycle chains are still measured using fractions of inches although pins and rollers seem to be metric.

Re: Repairing a cog

Replacing a tooth as Pennymachines describes is a good repair, but as this is a ball count unit which will use limited steps , you may be able to reposition the stop stud and the switch actuating post ..maybe half a turn? and then the unit can work on a different set of teeth.

Re: Auction madness downunder!

I think the seller will be very disappointed when the purchaser claims his money back from the auction house if this has been wrongly described. Sounds fraudulent to me.

Re: Odd (not slot related) flyer

From the sound of it, he achieves a slow enough tick over to be able to engage drive at standstill by knocking one bank out. You'd only need to kill one magneto. Ignition system. The ignition system comprises two magnetos, which are attached to the wheel case, one on the left, and one on the right....

As I remember it all these tokens were slightly larger than a sixpence so the machine could separate them. Tokens with holes were 3d value and the solid ones were 6d value.

Re: Sega console wiring diagram

I see a Williams pintable coil used as a reset coil on that stepper unit which I think ran on 24volts ac. Looks like Williams coils could be used to replace any burnt out relay coils. Check the coils first with a meter, as the coils often look discoloured with the paper wrappings burnt off.
