Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
That machine looks nice by the way. I was wondering which machine it was. The reel bands look really nice. Ive never seen those reel bands in a Jubilee before. The main Jubilees I have seen have been Mini Maxi, Noughts And Crosses, and one called Cashcendo, and of course Golden Nugget. Though I gues...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
...As you said, I don't have a Jubilee, so does this indicate to you that the handle hasn't bottomed out ? Yes. I'm beginning to think I have been sold a bit of a pup with this machine. You haven't - these machines are old, they were built to last and are infinitely adjustable and repairable 99% of...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
No, I don't get down to Lincolnshire now. I used to have a gran that lived in Sleaford which I think is very close to Lincoln. So many years ago I had visited Sleaford a few times. Ill have a go at the first of the three suggestions. I take it this is the smallish screw thing just behind the big spr...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
I'd like to confirm that I haven't touched that big screw at all. I'm beginning to think I have been sold a bit of a pup with this machine. I'm now wondering from what you are saying if that is why it was making a big noise after every spin. It used to make like an engine winding down sound after a ...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
Yes what you say is spot on Badpenny. The fingers have now released, but the handle is still in the down position. I have got a 20p coin in the coin mech waiting to go, but I'm sure that is nothing to do with it. So when I put the mechanism back in the cabinet, the cabinet arm is hitting the bit of ...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
Have tried the first suggestion and when I pushed the bolt upwards it has clicked and pulled the vertical fingers back. I have put the mech back into the cabinet and the arm is now going about half way down and making contact but the machine is still not winding, unless I need to play around with th...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
Well spotted thanks for circling the problem. What would you recommend I do next. How do I get it to go back into position. I bet I caused that when I didn't release the handle on that spin. Its spun the 3 plums and paid then next time the cabinet arm was just going straight down and not winding, pr...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
Ive just had a look and this part is still latched into the 3 discs. Ill do a photo tomorrow to show it. I see what you mean what you are saying is this should go back at the end of the cycle to allow for reels to spin on the next play.

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
Here are a couple more photos I have just taken one of the front and one of the back. I know I am gonna sound thick but where is the bar you mentioned to check the reels. I did notice however just by pushing each reel, they are all locked in position but there is much more tension in reels 1 and 3 t...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
Cheers for the advice. I will have a look. When the machine performed its last spin there were 3 plums on the win-line. It paid the coins out, then that was when the arm would not wind the mechanism, as it is out of position with the machine not completing its cycle. Now I have noticed a loose free ...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
Hope everyone is well. Here are the photos of the inside of the mech I promised. Looks like the 3 plums have paid. The finger is stuck in until the next spin clears it. Now I need to free the mech. Thanks for all the help so far. Any advice from the photos would be appreciated. As I am not sure what...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
Thanks for all the advice. I will try and get the mechanism out tomorrow. Im hoping it is just the big screw in the middle at the front that holds the mechanism in place. I will try and get you some pictures of the mechanism outside the cabinet. I haven't even got a clue what a dog arm is, but I gue...

Re: Jubilee Riviera Golden Nugget
Thanks for the advice and welcome. It is much appreciated. Yes, I can confirm the machine was bought directly off the Henry Powell website. I might fire off another email and see if I get a response. Yes, as you say it seems part way through the cycle, as when I watch a video on this site from the g...
