Top Tips for Newcomers

Coppinpr, you are a star, Sir. One of the tasks on my list is to strip and maintain the reels on my Aristocrat machines. This is as much to learn about how to do this as much as because the machines need maintenance. I have read the manuals and, as much as I understand the words, the process does no...

Re: Aristocrat Elite Bingo

Hi, Leezybee. Like you, I am a relative newcomer to these wonderful machines (I have two Aristocrats, so far - I love 'em). There is a lot of information to be found on the Forum if you use the search facility, but I do know there is an Aristocrat manual in the Resources section which will give some...

Mills of the Thirties

Found this on everyone's favourite auction site (hrmmm!), priced at £45.00:

If anyone is interested, I recently bought this hardback new from Amazon.com for only $7.00 plus shipping. Total cost was way less than half the ebay price. The seller was called mpc2005.

Re: Watling

My thanks to you all for your comments and advice. The previous topic had an entry by Bandito suggesting that the machine being discussed might be a converted OK Vendor (he even mentioned the conversion might have been by a company called Samson - who are named on the 'coin' in the top jackpot box o...

Watling

Topic merged - site admin. Hi, All. I found this old machine at a local antiques shop at the weekend and picked it up today. The guy in the shop tells me it is a 'Watling' from the 1930s but, then, he also gave me a receipt that refers to it as a 'fruit machine'. It may well be a Watling machine (b...

Re: Gawd ... not again!

Are we looking at the same thing, Mr BP? I put my hand up to having bought my fair share of crap from ebay (recent Sheerline purchase refers), but even I would not touch one of these things. They look really tacky (but that is just my opinion, others may have differing views) and I am a tad fed up w...

Re: Aristocrat Sheerline

Hi, Treefrog.

I have sent you an email in response. I would be very interested in obtaining one of your cabinets! You have made my day. Perhaps you could advise as to how this can be progressed?

Cheers,

Alan

Aristocrat Sheerline

Hi. I am a newcomer to PennyMachines and am delighted to have found this site. Just for a bit of background, I am just an old bloke who really likes mechanical slot machines. I am not a collector, I just like to play them and, to this end, I have an Aristocrat Arcadian and an electro-mechanical Ball...

Re: Arcadian swap?

Hi, this is my first posting and I am delighted to be able to draw on such a repository of knowledge! I have a two bandits, one of which is an Arcadian. It is due for a bit of an overhaul but generally runs well and pays out as expected - with one exception. Every now and again, when the handle is p...
