Re: Dropa Copper wiring

Well I feel a little stupid now, yes you're right, this is like the Bell Cascade, as the coin cascades down past each of the trips... OK, going to hide now !!ESCAPE!!

Dropacopper wiring

I have a Wonders DropaCopper, been converted to 1np although thinking about changing back to old penny which should be easy with a bit of tinkering, but I have a question if anyone has one of these or is in the know. Mine only pays a single 3 coins on each win, rather than scaling up for each win po...

Re: Bryans values today

What condition is the new elevenses in treefrog, is it a complete rebuild or just a cosmetic job. No definitely a cosmetic job, new backflash, locks and strip and polish oh and half inch ball....very clean inside. My first machine purchase from the states, turned up quickly and well packaged, shipp...

Re: Newbie questions

Now having seen your picture, there a couple of loose looking springs on the left of the jackpot, but should not cause your issue, the item under the nylon actuator is more odd and maybe blocking the machine. I would take the mechanism out and try turning it over to see what happens...Below is a pic...

Re: Bryans values today

this being the most popular of the Bryans machines with over 11,000 sold Interesting prices and analogy treefrog but do not think that Bryans manufactured 11,000 Elevenses. I understand that Bryans numbering started at 101 and around 4500 Bryans machines in total were produced over their whole rang...

If you have a video feature on your mobile, why don't you take a snip of the issue in hand and post a link to youtube on here, might help diagnose the issue....

Duck Shoot

Not the earlier gun based shooter, but a '60s/'70s bandit with a working Duck shoot feature, not the prettiest of machines, but.... Seems so cheap for what it is and I guess less common than standard electro bandits of the day, especially in working order....only wish I had the space :-( http://www....

Bryans values today

Having just acquired another Elevenses project, this being the most popular of the Bryans machines with over 11,000 sold, I was intrigued to know what these would have cost in today's prices new, based on what we are paying for them now. Generally, from poor condition, they seem to start around the ...

Re: Is this the bargain I think it is?

Try and lift one, must be the heaviest counter top bandit made. A picture of the front doors open would have been useful. Yes, the advert clearly states this. I reckon they must be over 80/90kg each. Even with the mech and cash tray out, they are too heavy to lift... Sega did a series of heavy mach...

Re: Mills Golden Nugget on ebay

I never thought it was a Nugget and I don't think anyone else did, that's why it was £240. Anyway, thanks to info posted here it's beginning to look more interesting than I thought. The forum does its job once again. Would this lead one to believe the castings are original? I can't imagine anyone w...

Re: Mills Golden Nugget on ebay

Well B"$*er me.....there is another one..... This may help answer why they have no frontage, as this is a Golden Falls, with light fittings or light up feature.....I wonder if these were modified machines for casinos with some kind of jackpot feature and electronic hopper payout, as you will no...

Re: Mills Golden Nugget on ebay

Never sure whether any real Nuggets were made and there is more than one thread on that topic on the forum, but of the three common non fancy half tops, Black Cherry, Diamond Front and Golden Falls, I would say the Golden falls is the most likely casting used to copy them. Below is a genuine lower D...

Re: Mills Golden Nugget on ebay

Have you picked it up yet, if not here is the picture of the inside castings, so you will see what I mean.....This a detailed image, so will be bigger when clicking on the image.....I cannot tell if this was cast like this, never seen such a large opening on these, it also goes through to the upper ...

Re: The law, company history and fiddles

Pins and more pins....operators putting pins in nasty places on allwins and coin droppers to stop winning cups or high wins slots...I have a Wonders Dropacopper, which you can place the bumpers anywhere you like and assume the manufacturer would leave it to the operator with spare bumpers to make it...

Re: A Very Loose Slot

I have a challenge, I bought a Aristocrat Sheerline last year, which does not appear to follow any kind of random mathematical calculation, but oddly for a mechanical bandit will actually play around 20 or 30 normal small wins or no wins, but then go through a win streak. Eg. it will perform 6 wins...

Re: Elephant House Auctions

You're right about the Aristocrat, to stick on the front of an Arcadian.

You will see the results in the Arena. Two of these have appeared at the Coventry auctions. I wonder if this is the same one. Yet to see one on a machine....

Re: 'Five Jacks' information please

I believe this is one and the same machine from the Elephant House... I do remember thinking a lot of the machine did not have the feel of an older machine, even though the graphics have degraded. Not a lot of money at the moment.

Re: Firmans

That Firmans viewer looked really nice, I wonder if the paint/enamel finish was original. The artwork looked a bit hand drawn/painted. Met the guy who bought the Wurlitzer today, he is also hoping it is as good in the pictures when collecting. Not been persuaded by jukebox in the past, but this one ...
