Sadly I have no photos... It came to me in the late '70s, possibly from the Barry Noble outfit I think.

The Union Jack I had was in a wide body Bally case. Only 3 symbols on the reels, as I remember: Union Jacks, tankards and bars. Payouts were either 5 x 2p or 25 x 2p, I think.

I've used old oak furniture... book shelves are often best. You can find them in second hand shops or auction rooms... usually go pretty cheap.

Check the fuse holders... they are made of plated brass and the arms that hold the fuse lose tension.
When you try to bend the arms back in again they break and fall off. Happens on all the old Ballys!

Going from memory.... The anti cheat relay should pull in on the first play cycle and stay energised through its holding contacts... Have you got a circuit diagram?

I am pretty sure the top marquee frame was original and used the same mounting brackets as shown. Just the top horizontal wood part was missing which I remade. Remember this was a "giant type allwin" and maybe suited the small marquee.

This is what mine looks like. You look to have a modern reproduction reel with straight cards. The original reels had curved cards. There is an article somewhere (maybe on this site* explaining all this). You may have to search on google.
