Conveyor & Rollercoaster
Hi all, not been around for a while. Yes, it was me that made the Conveyors and I made a bigger one called Elevator. I also made two small Rollercoasters and a large one in a dark wood cab called Mountain Descent. I've also made quite a few other games Inc Howzat and Jelly Fingers, which were simila...

Re: Stolen Moon Money Aristocrat machine
If you have anything of value especially a machine why would it be in a damp horrible shed. That is a sure way to knacker them up. Keep them indoors, safe, warm and where they should be.

I thought these were monkey metal so almost impossible to polish, and even if you do it will dull quick. Much nicer with a good paint job in my view.

Have you tried Eurocoin ? Yes that's who I emailed. It has a Eurocoin plate on it with s/no but still can't find anything. Just make a note of how the dip switches are currently set and then start experimenting. Doesn't take long to figure out the options. Back in the '80s and '90s I had to do the ...

Change machine
Hi everyone,
I bought this old change machine and got it working but it pays 2p coins out at the moment. I want it to work paying 10ps but at present you get 50x10p for £1. Does anyone know if it can be adjusted and what the 3 banks of switches are for on the pcb?

That's the way threads go, someone makes a post then it goes way off topic with others blarting about other things not related. Quite common really.

Re: Novelty Merchantman lattice crane boom part wanted
Maybe with a valuable item such as this crane one might think of getting parts re cast. There are companies that do it. And it helps retain originality and value.

Re: Peter Simper machines
I seen a couple on ebay. I had one a few years ago, very nice as well. Mine had a road theme with some traffic signs on the reels. To be honest, the cabinet looked more like a jukebox. I do believe that Simper did one off artwork on machines to suit where they were sited. I'm guessing mine may have ...

Re: Jamiesons Skill poker machine
First job is to remove the pcbs and replace all components, especially capacitors and resisters. You won't get exact parts but you will get equivalents. In the case of caps, always go higher, especially on voltage. It will work the same but last longer. Check for dry solder joints, clean all pcb con...

The lamps in these are called festoon bulbs. You can't use LED lamps as the the filament lamps already fitted are AC. The LEDs are DC. It will not work unless you alter the lamp output to DC. It will also need to be regulated and not just through a bridge rec., otherwise your LED lamps won't last 5 ...

Re: electric amuser info needed
Not too hot on these but I think it is supposed to give you an electric shock. Back in the day it was said to be stimulating and good for you, but electric shocks in my view are not good. So the two knobs should be connected so when you deposit a coin it gives you a shock. Just buy old German machin...

Re: auction for sale
no i would not, people who bid and simply dont show up are time wasters, its a nice machine and worth the money.Quite simply,if it dont get what i want i will keep it.But im selling off most of my machines as i now have other interests. The only 2 im keeping are bingolette and waterwheel.
