oh lordy! thanks VERY much! by shere coincidence i've posting letters out to various people this week asking for any information/help on the subject, to help with my dissertation... and i did send one to the people at the southport pier arcade! *squeal* lets hope i get a reply soon! :-)

i don't really remember the botany bar arcade very well, i just remember loving it when i was little, but i bet it was really pretty awful! as for paying to go there, yep, that's pretty shitty, but i think my membership card cost 3 quid...which i don't mind so much... and i guess its just the neares...
