This is a picture taken at the pier head, not the entrance.

Re: Electro-Medical Battery Co. Corinthian identified

Dear Daveslot old age has caught up with you like the rest of us. The reason the machine was familiar to you was because the only known one was owned by the late Joe Pettit, someone you introduced me to over 25 years ago. When I inquired if it may be for sale about 10 years ago I was told, 'NO!', bu...

Re: Palm reading fortune tellers

The marque is definitely from an Arnold palmist. Its dimensions fit exactly, although the cast iron supports do not belong. I was alerted to the e-bay item by Bryans fan a few hours before it finished and did consider bidding. The machine shown earlier at Mablethorpe has both top and main enamels re...

Robot Roundup

I have never seen the Eric the robot machine but do have six different tokens from the machine collected over several years. They are each 21mm in diameter. Having a similar front with a different back, each showing a good luck charm. If anyone has a different token I would be pleased to know the de...

Re: Love test card

I have a set of 10 different cards similar to this card (which I bought). The texts on the back do not include the text on this card. The card is illustrated below and, as you see, states 'Sole Makers & Patentees A.W. Patents, Southport'. Do not have any idea what the machine looked like though.
