Re: Sega Monaco restoration

Very nice.
Good to see someone else doesn't like the vertical stripe!

Re: Semco Dial for Money info?

I'd say it's an after-market conversion of a Semco, by someone who doesn't like Uniselectors.
It seems to have no provision for operating the 'dialled number' indicator.

Re: Sega Imperial: no payout on cherry & adjust reel stops

I'm working on my Aristo Grosvenor Electronic again, and it's a nightmare.

Re: Boland Black Beauty, Screen Stars, Brooklands, White City...

The Duke/Duchess mechanism is concentrated at the right-hand end of the reel/disc spindle, leaving the reels/discs virtually outside the frames. This allows the enthusiastic re-vamper plenty of room to incorporate such gear as 30-stop bicycle sprockets, &c.. All the Duke/Duchess models I've seen...

The thermometer on the one I remember was a translucent white, burnt to an orangey-red at the bulb end, where the lamp had been lit continuously for about ten years.

If the 'anti-cheat' relay has the same number of contacts, you may be able to press it into service as the missing 'payout' one.
