Re: Electrodart and Rotofruit revisited

I am on the lookout for a transformer for a Rotolite, I guess they were the same in all of these machines. I have a nice machine with a melted Tx. I know I could rewind it myself but I don't have the patience. Anyone know of a rewinder for small Tx's?

I wondered where the sign above my arcade (cellar) had come from.

Mercury Switch

Some time ago I remember a wanted advert in MMM from someone looking for a mercury switch. I have located 4 switches of a cylindrical type and wondered if anyone recalls who it was looking for one?

Re: Steer a Coin

Thank you for that info. What I need now is either a few close up photos of the various wording on the graphics, or find one that I can go and take photos of so I can get some graphics made.....Anyone help on that one?

Re: What's missing from this picture?

I like the idea of steppers. I may have to go back to the one I photographed and watch them while it is playing.

Re: What's missing from this picture?

Here we are! I took some pictures of a working Rotolite last week, (thanks bits & bats), to help me re-wire the one I have in my collection. My first thought is they are a current overload but I have never seen a 3 wire version so don't bank on that. I won't be getting round to starting mine for...

Right I am getting desperate..... The transformer has burnt out there are wires off and some different coloured wires taped together, now I find the coil of one of the uni-selectors is burnt out also. I NEED a schematic and can anyone tell me where to get a uni-selector. Slotalot's Roto Pool Wiring ...

There is nothing in the mechanical timer, just a switch release and a cam to do it. I found that on my timer the motor was open circuit so I have wired in an electronic timer. I did try and get a new motor but all the synchronus motors I tried seemed too fast.(I only tried 2).

You don't see one for decades then 2 come at once. Here is my Minisoccer a good way into working again. Sadly the motor on the mechanical timer was open circuit so I have had to wire in a timer to do the job.

Thanks for that info. I didn't realise that the machine had uniselectors. I had heard of them but not seen one. Do they click round with a trigger from another relay or do they rotate when a supply is applied? I have not seen one of these machines working so half the battle is to work out what is su...

Rotolite help

Hi everyone. The Rotolite that I bought from the auction needs a little more work than first appeared (don't they all). Has anyone got a circuit diagram? Or can someone with a working version of this game help me by measuring with a voltmeter the AC voltage on the secondary side of the transformer a...

Arcade photographs

In the '70s I had the privilege of spending most of my holiday time in Mablethorpe where my parents had a caravan. There were two arcades that back then had old machines to play on and I have wondered if any of the machines were still in existence. Last weekend I travelled over to Mablethorpe to see...

Mini Soccer

Topic merged - Site Admin. What can anyone tell me about this latest purchase. The notes I got from the seller are that it is around 1962 vintage and manufactured by Mini soccer Ltd. I remember playing on one of these machines in Mablethorpe in the 70s and I dont think I have seen one since. Everyt...

Wow, I lit the touch paper on that one.... I admit I would be the last person to organise an auction, just because I am not good at organisation on a big scale. I think all of us in the north can appreciate that there is a bigger market down south and we did enjoy the Coventry event. What I didn't r...

April auction

I am a bit confused as to the auction on the 22nd April. It is only 5 months since the last auction???? I thought the MMM auctions were to be in the midlands so us "up north" had a chance to attend???? Why are there no requests for entries yet?????
