Re: 2p to 20p conversion (or 10p)
Ok guys, thanks for the input from you both.
I think I may well be biting off more than I can chew with this idea.
I think it might be best to let sleeping dogs lie.
Thanks for the advice though nonetheless.

2p to 20p conversion (or 10p)
This is just an idea I'm toying with at the moment. I have an Aristocrat machine on 2p play (30p jackpot). How much of a challenge would it be to convert it to 20p play or 10p play? Would it be costly? Where would I get the sliders, coin tube and coin mech? Looking forward to reading your replies. M...

Re: Help with Dutchess one arm bandit - not paying out
Yeah, let's have some good quality photo's.....let's see a win setup on the winline, and let's see if those vertical fingers are going through the payout holes in the payout discs.

Re: Windows 10
If we have any technical computer boffins on here, I could do with your help. I have been using Windows XP for years without any problems but a few months ago my computer started to run really slow and sluggish, especially when it came to web browser usage. I assumed it was because Micrososft no lon...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic 'Wheelie' reel alignment & restoratio
Well, that was a short lived pleasure! The Araldite I used to bond the payout disc to reel 3 broke away, which meant the disc slipped slightly and cocked up the payouts again! GRRRRR!! I stripped the reels down again and got to the heart of the problem. As I was removing the Araldite, two rivets cam...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic 'Wheelie' reel alignment & restoratio
Problem now resolved! !THUMBS! I removed two of the vertical fingers and filed a little bit from under the nose (the pointy bit which goes through the discs). I only removed about 1 to 2mm which was just enough to allow the finger to pass through the troublesome holes in disc 3. The machine now pays...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic 'Wheelie' reel alignment & restoratio
Thanks to all who submitted responses to my problems/issues. Especially Aristomatic. Without your expertise and advice, I'd have been struggling for weeks. The machine is looking fine and dandy, it runs as smooth as silk. I'm proud of my achievements considering this is the first time I've ever refu...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic 'Wheelie' reel alignment & restoratio
I think I know what the problem is. Before I stripped down the reel mech, there was a bit of play between reel 3 and its disc. The rivets that hold the disc onto reel 3 were loose. I didn't have the tools to re-squash the loose rivets, and I didn't want to drill them out and put new ones in. I opted...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic 'Wheelie' reel alignment & restoratio
I'm back again...... Well I've had some succes today. I found that the "cherry" vertical finger was in the wrong slot in the lower comb. I repositioned it in the lower comb to the far right position, now it pays out on single cherry - whey hey!! I have a possible 7 payouts out of 10. When ...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic 'Wheelie' reel alignment & restoratio
Hi again Coppinpr. Thanks for your input. I was working on the funfair all day yesterday and never got time to have a mess about with the machine. I will be investigating this today. I will check the BAR on reel 3 (BAR hole in disc 3) to see if the finger is just missing the hole. Yes, I did remove ...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic 'Wheelie' reel alignment & restoratio
Hi again Aristomatic, and thanks for helping out again. Ok - YES - 3 BARs across the win-line allows all payout sliders to shoot forward to drop all coins. 3 BAR's anywhere in the window (27 ways) pays out 20p. (I will confirm that the 2 BAR's on reel 1 both pay out on the 3 BAR win, and also the 27...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic 'Wheelie' reel alignment & restoratio
Ok, the machine is now back together, and it looks great!! The only problems I'm having now are no payouts on any of the following combos: 1 cherry win 2 oranges + BAR win 2 plums + BAR win 2 Bells + BAR win Sometimes when 3 oranges are in the winline there is no payout (this is obviously a dodgy or...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic arm assembly
I was busy all day yesterday and never got the time to get on here to update you. I was working on the machine most of the day yesterday, then working on the funfair last night. I took the arm and the collar back to the platers, they rubbed the plating off the arm in minutes and the collar fitted li...

Re: Reel alignment
Good morning all, Well I never got the chance to have a mess about with the reel mech yesterday as I went out to buy a new spring for the long chromed arm which connects the back of the coin mech to the crank lever. Then the platers phoned to say the parts had been chromed and were ready for collect...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic arm assembly
Thanks chaps. Aristomatic - that pic makes sense. Now I can see where that damn spring bracket lives - no wonder I couldn't find where it went!! Off the cabinet, the arm doesn't go through the collar at all, it's far too tight. Coppinpr - yes, the platers have just simply dipped the bloody lot witho...

Aristocrat Olympic arm assembly
Topic merged - Site Admin. Does anyone have a photo of the assembly of the arm mechanism (inside cabinet) please? Things look obvious as to where everything goes but there is a one-hole bracket which looks like it holds the arm mechanism spring but I can't see where it's supposed to live! Also, doe...
