Re: Bryans allwin anti-bounce unit identified
Haha, I've been there.
Titter ye Not, they may only be chipboard boxes, but the machines in that photo are worth the best part of £50,000. The Barcrest 'Razzle Dazzle' front left in the photo is worth £2,000+ all day long.

Fantastic, I like those! They have different heads too. What are the other smaller figures and bits , one looks like a smaller goal keeper?

Re: Crompton Ice Hockey flyers
Cromptons made the best ball return on ice hockeys, no balls piling up behind the goal like the others, good lift, no jamming, very reliable.

Re: Indian Fakir Working Model
That's a tantalising photo. Does the line of working models go all around the rest of the room? !!YIPPEE!! Still is "maker unknown", I can estimate some of the likely owner trail of collectors, but not the original maker. We still haven't determined the original maker of the Charlie and Ma...

Re: Time to ........
I've operated mine for over twenty years and never had a problem - one of my most reliable machines. That's interesting JC, yours must be a good one. Machines that have a lot for the player to do in sequence have to be reliable to operate. I think maybe these machines are completely original ones t...

Re: Tin Pan Alley pusher
The worst thing they ever did with pushers was the automatic 'gate' that activates after a period of inactivity and stops the 'stray' 2ps falling out. My kids loved hunting the arcades for the 'freebies'. Not from the operator's point of view, stopped all those gaining anything from banging the sid...

That Win-a Lot was cheap!
Nice to see a Bryans Galloper. Lethal thing though, as you watch the little sister (standing watching her older brother who pushed past her to jump on first), ram the lever straight into 'Gallop', and watches him thrown off over the front.

Re: 1954 Seeburg Coon Hunt shooting gallery refresh
You've done a wonderful job! and a fantastic looking and fun game to play too. I love the American coin-op rifle shooting games. Can Can Wonderland in Minneapolis has a massive floorspace packed with hundreds of similar US vintage electro mechanical arcade machines to play. My friend Larry operates ...
