Re: Jezzard Tap a Coin

Thanks for all your help. The video is not very helpful. Looking at it is confusing. There is a NC micro switch operated by the coin as it drops from the 2nd run down to the 3rd ‘tap’ point. There are 2 micro switches as the coin drops out of play 1NC and 1NO. I intend to renew the rectifier diodes ...

Re: Jezzard Tap a Coin

I will probably have to remove one to read all the details.
Would it be advisable to fit 3 new ones?
I could probably get 3 new ones from RS components
I’m in the next valley in Greetland.

Jezzard Tap a Coin

Just bought a Jezzard Tap A Coin. I know it’s a long shot but does anybody have a wiring diagram? How is the game play supposed to play out? The lights power up OK , some of the ‘coin gate’ micro switches have 240v to them, some have 25v, but when they are activated nothing happens! It is confusing ...

Re: Sega Basketball

I saw this and was interested, but looking at other pictures online, the Sega one has a round dome and SEGA is on the end panels by the buttons.
It also says 'partita' on the score panel.
Is it a copy by another company?

Re: Southport pier closed

I called at the penny arcade 18 months ago and it was very disappointing.
It was no longer run by Clive.
Machines in poor condition and severely not working.

Re: Lock ID

Leave the machine as is,it looks ok to me, it’s only original once. I can highly recommend M&A locksmiths, Bradford Road, Brighouse. They have made keys for locks on several Oliver Whales machines, Bonzini Crane and rebuilt 2 locks from a Bollands Oracle , which came in pieces with the machine. ...

I think it went for more than that.
I submitted 2 offers above that amount, both rejected.

Peter, look at Keys Auctions in Norfolk, July 2022. Looks like your machine.
Hammer price £40. Bargain, if nothing was missing.

I think we all miss live in person auctions, and I would sooner inspect before buying, but I can’t see Steve resurrecting them.

Re: Rollite Products Ltd.

I was interested in the machine when it came up for auction.
But like others thought it must have a joystick missing, which I assumed would be impossible to find.
Now I am kicking myself for not bidding.
Good luck with your project.

Re: Woodbank Nurseries Old Penny Arcade

Arrgee this arcade is one of the best. A good variety of machines, some very rare. Bryan’s Penny Go Round, Myers’s Road Test, many working models, Shoot Hitler, an Ahrens Bubbles (currently not working), Skee Ball, Genco Hoops, along with the usual cranes , allwins, bandits, etc. All on old Penny. I...

Re: EH / Collector Connector sales

I think everyone would like to go to these auctions on the day.
To socialise with other like minded collectors.
But it would require extra staff for Steve and additional costs.
