Re: Where are they now?
Yes please. I have made a copy of the part from what was left of the bits but it isn't right. The game play is incorrect so I could do with seeing a good one to make sure. Could also do with the wiring diagram. I got part of one from Harold but the cam switch bit is missing.

I'm still here as well. Put a post up a couple of weeks ago don't you know... No one replied (fades out with echo).
I would have been at Coventry but I am at work Sunday.

Wulff Jupiter
My Jupiter, which is one of my favorite machines, needs a bit of work. There is a small plastic gizmo that sits on the end of a shaft that opens 2 contacts. This gizmo has fallen into pieces and I dont know what it looks like. Has anyone got a Jupiter that they can post a photo of the said bit so I ...

Remove Beromat knob
Anyone know how to get the plastic knob off a Beromat arm? I want to have the arm re-chromed. It looks like there is a pin holding it on but before I go breaking things I guess someone out there has taken one off before...???

Re: Roto Pool
Hi John, Don't assume the transformer is duff. I did the same with my Rotolite. Looking at the Tx the windings were burnt and the paper insulation was hanging off like it had mange. I bought 2 transformers to provide the voltages but then I decided to check the insulation of the windings to earth, j...

Re: Veneering
Funny this should come up again. I am now on my third attempt to veneer the same machine I started the thread about. I have tried wood glue, the iron on sheet glue and I am now on the ready glued veneer.... I got in contact with a veneer company on the net, can't remember who at the minute and he to...

Skill Poker Help needed
Hi all, I have this Skill Poker game by Jamisons that is in need of repair. Has anyone got one of these machines? I have spent many hours on this and I have not got it to work correctly yet. It is all TTL logic inside and I am starting to suspect that I am missing a connection somewhere. If any of y...

Re: Torpedo shoot
There was a Torpedo Shoot game in the same arcade as Top Gun Marshall, but your version is not the one. The one I remember in the 1960s was much larger and had ships going along the back on a chain-type motor. A RED light would run up the machine as though the Torpedo had been fired, then you eithe...

Re: Top Gun Marshall
That is the very machine. There were three (I think) in a line in Mablethorpe. I spent a fortune on these machines, I couldn't get enough. I am sure it was this machine that put me on the engineering career path. I must have been about 10 years old but tried so hard to work out how you could registe...

Re: Top Gun Marshall
You might well have a similar machine. I remember that there were two lenses inside a sort of canopy that you rested your forehead against. I dont remember it being 3D though. Thinking back the joystick seemed to be two vertical handles on a central piece, a bit like a stearing wheel without the top...

Top Gun Marshall
I have just read the article in MMM from Robert about the Marshall. I remember this machine so well. I spent a lot of time in Mablethorpe, we had a caravan there in my youth as my mum is from Skeggy and she wanted to have a base near her Sisters. It is such a pity that machine didn't end up with a c...

Re: Veneering
Update; My first attempt at veneering looked ok the day I did it. Two days later it looks like a dog’s dinner. Splits all along the edges. Gaps where the two sheets meet. Glue all over the place. Looks like it is all coming off for a second try.

Re: Veneering
By coincidence I found the veneer company because I am re covering a Beromat. The bloke at the company made it sound simple to re-veneer. I have since found out I missed some vital info. The veneers they make are not iron on they are thin slices of plain wood. I have found that it is very hard to cu...

I would love this machine that is now on Flea Bay. The mech looks like it would keep you busy right through winter. I have never heard of J.H. Keeney & co. Anyone know of them?

Thanks to all involved. This is so close to my butchered Rotolite that I have a chance of rewiring it now.

Pessers Moody Wraith & Gurr v. Cat / Haydon / Cresset / Newell
I was searching the net for information on the history of PMWG and I came across what seemed to be a court case document in the search engine results, as follows: BETWEEN: Court File No. A-367-01 (T-1593-98) FEDERAL COURT OF ...File Format: PDF/Adobe Acrobat - View as HTML Tab 30]; and Pessers, Mood...
