Re: Nestle Vendor
As you say they don't come up very often, so I think it is very hard to speculate on the price. I cannot recall seeing one.

Re: American trade stimulators
There are a couple of good books on trade stimulators which, if you don"t have them, would be worth you looking out for. Illustrated Price Guide To the 100 Most Collectible Trade Stimulators Volume 1 by R M Bueschel. Illustrated Price Guide To the 100 Most Collectible Trade Stimulators Volume 2...

Re: Jentzsch & Meerz Simplex catcher
I can only agree with all the comments posted so far. I think you have done an excellent job. Many of us on here would, I`m sure, have been daunted by such a task! You obviously have a wide range of skills which you have put to good use in saving another machine from the scrap heap. Well done indeed...

If I`d have seen it I would have bid! It would go nicely in my collection of "interesting" useless bits. My wife has a similar problem with shoes and handbags, apparently you can never have enough!

I know we are going a bit off track but as it's already been mentioned where is the machine number on a Payramid? On the 1930s Payramid it is stamped in the wood on the top of the case behind the coin entry. The number is also usually stamped somewhere on the chrome plate housing the "controls...

I think on the later machines Jim Bryan made, he bought in the square pay out cups rather than fitting the round spun brass ones.

Re: My new Pacman Coin Pusher, from scratch
Well it was worth the 15 year wait!! What an amazing machine. I can`t believe it only took 6 weeks to build! It is far far better than any other "Homemade " pusher I`ve ever seen and way better than some Manufactured ones! You must be really pleased to say the least. Far beyod most peoples...

Re: Hi! ...Vending machines?
I have fond memories of vending machines outside the local newsagent. Chewing gum machines that you waited till the knob was in the right position as every fourth go it gave out an extra packet. Plus the ciigy machines were my source of No.6 fags! You could buy them without going in the shop and you...

Re: Fil-Em-Up on 3D
I was being a bit tongue in cheek when I said I was new to this. I normally don`t offer my opinion on things, well not till my wife has told me what it is, plus the topics bering discussed are often about bandits of which I know sweet F A. It does seem like only yesterday however that I first parted...

The one at Coventry was mine. I never discovered the maker. My guess was that it was a one off, until another appeared! I've seen three now. The mirrored backflash was professionally screen printed, but the unusual thing was the internal mechanism was thin plywood sprayed silver. I have been trying ...

I am afraid I must admit to having little interest in bandits, and very little understanding of them. I have read the posts relating to this question as I read everything posted. I must say I have been absolutely amazed at the brilliant response you have had from our members. It is unprecedented in ...

Re: Elephant House Auctions
Wednesday morning and catalogue still being compiled. It makes it very hard to decide whether to travel or not, and if its not ready till Friday or Sat it is too late to leave a comission bid. I think monthly is stretching Steve too much.
