I think it was made in 1934, along with its sister machine known as the Firebird by some. (I think the Firebird looks better). I think I have found the answer. My jackpot is Three Crowns and is called Deci-King. The one mentioned is a Tic Tac Toe. Below is a picture of a Mad Mellons version. I think it all relates to the jackpot symbols.

I have one of these and the only reason I think it could be called Mad Mellons, is because the top payout is three melons rather than bells.
