Re: Unidentified Jack Pot Front

This was an early Watling Mint Vendor front, similar to a Mills F.O.K., but had a revamped front added later. If you look at the front right hand side of the cabinet you should be able to see where the vendor bar came through!

There’s many famous people around the world in the public eye that could do with taking a leaf out of her book and keep their opinions to themselves, she will be sadly missed!

Re: Watling 1935 Rol A Top Coin Detector rod

Hi,
The missing sensor bar is only fitted when tokens with holes in the middle are being used, so don't worry about it unless you plan on using tokens. The shoulder screw is identical to the one that's already in. You can remove that and take some measurements. They do sell separately on eBay,

Re: Springs and Sprungs.

Those Clarke springs are OK for simple jobs but not good for 3 reel mechanisms. They don't have enough longevity in them and stay stretched almost! '!'

Re: Anyone with a spare cog wheel for a Caillie or Greyhound Stadium mechanism please?

Take it to a good engineering shop and get another one made almost impossible to find spare parts for and if you find one the condition will not be much better!
