Anyone who has done this in the past or knows how, could you give me a run through of how to do it? Do you need a particular type of scanner? Or a...

Re: Watling Roll A Top Repro

If you are a subscriber to MMM, you will be able to see in the adverts pages that someone is selling a reproduction Watling Rol-A-Top.

Re: Bryans Walden Goliath Crane on Ebay-USA

Just a thought,

Did this crane split in half so that it could be moved easier like the Bryans Foursquare?

These cranes are huge aren't they? So would've been hard to move or even deliver, wouldn't it? :-?

Re: Bryans Walden Goliath Crane on Ebay-USA

£40 back in 1936 must have been a huge amount!!
Which was more desirable do you think, the manual or the electric? :)

Taken from melvyn's site. "William Edward Bryan was born in 1894, and opened up his slot machine factory at Kegworth, Derbyshire (England) in 1920."
Also says that the 12 win clock was introduced in 1947!!! haha

Yeah I agree, never has appealed to me really.
I have been offered a couple in the past and turned them down mostly due to not knowing if they were orginals or not.

Re: Clown Catcher

Hi all :D Thanks for all the replies and info. I have got it working as far as when you put a coin in the ball is released and the arm can now pick it up and put it into play. Spot the Difference

Topic merged - Site Admin. How do you tell the difference between the original Bryan's Ripplers and the other ones which I am led to believe where built from some original parts by a private collector. Don't know if that is true but that's what I heard. The reason I ask is because there is Bryans R...
