Re: Aristocrat Olympic 'Wheelie' reel alignment & restoratio
I never like reverting to permanently removing any material. I've done plenty of bending to make payouts work in the past, although I have in the past filed the vertical finger to resolve fingers through the holes rather than filing all the holes............ but it's a last resort, as usually there ...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic 'Wheelie' reel alignment & restoratio
Don't be too concerned about the actual number of coins paid out on each win. It is important that the vertical lever, when fully sprung by a winning symbol combination, is tripping the appropriate lower horizontal slides to release the correct number of slides. Firstly check BOTH bar symbols on sym...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic 'Wheelie' reel alignment & restoratio
Hi, Can you just confirm that 'bar bar bar' on the centre reel trips BOTH the 27 ways and j/p vertical fingers to release all the slides? Please also confirm this ALSO happens when you set the 3 bars using the second bar on the 1st reel, as this reel ONLY has 2 bar symbols. Also that 'orange orange ...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic arm assembly
A bit fuzzy, but should do you. I'm not exactly sure what you are describing on the rechrome issue. I have had many Aristocrat arm parts plated and never had an issue when reassembling them? Are you sure the parts are all positioned OK, e.g. off the cabinet does the arm go through the collar on its ...

Re: Reel alignment
Hi good to see that things are moving forward, at least on the 27 ways and the jackpot pays. Ref. cherries situation, I think I have confused myself, which is not too difficult in the current situation. I think you are going to need an additional vertical finger to trigger the single cherry payout. ...

Re: Reel alignment
Looking at my previous post, it looks more like clear as mud... I am glad you got the general gist of it. Hopefully, you will get all sorted soon. I'll have check in late tonight and tomorrow - hopefully you will have had chance to sort. One other thing - don't forget that when re-tightening reel sp...

Re: Reel alignment
OK, morning and thanks for the pictures. If you have replaced the vertical fingers to their original positions then vertical finger closest to front (1 with the cutout) controls the 27 ways bars payout ONLY. The vertical finger, second from the front (1 without cutout) controls the jackpot bars cent...

Re: Reel alignment
Hello again, I have had a few Wheelie version Aristocrat machines over the years. You do have to remember that the reel bundle could have undergone a whole raft of changes for different award and graphic combinations, but you want it to pay out as per the current setup, so hopefully we can sort that...

Re: Reel alignment
Afternoon and welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your first purchase. Great first machine. Firstly, do not be concerned as you will be up and running well before the platers are finished! So take your time. Great that you have read all the previous threads etc. My partner is poorly, so am ...

Re: Mills bell o matic help
my tuppence worth.... i wouldnt worry about the jackpot for now..... just concentrate on issue of non paying/coinjam if you do follow previous posters on removing the tall vertical cointube just be aware that there is a lever at the top rear of the tube that moves forward and back thru a slot or hol...

What did it sell for...? More than my offer... I thought it may be Firmans as the jackpot to the left. Strange that Firmans sometimes had F on their castings and some not......

Extraordinary Mills Extraordinary
Recently sold on gumtree. I hoped to buy it but was outbid. The jackpot casting mounting looks further to left of centre than usual and only one (on the right) of the embossed design, as usually one on the right and one on the left. I have a feeling this is either English outright clone or some kind...

Re: Italian Ascot Bandits
Thanks TF. I agree. As I said earlier, it's not on my list of machines, but I would have been none too pleased if the winning bidder. It's easy to get these details confirmed prior to an auction, but far more difficult to get a response from the Elephant prior to one of their auctions, so I have nev...

Re: Elephant House Auctions
Well it took a little time, but here is a picture of a machine with the same chess symbol, although the reel bundle and award card are fruits not chess symbols as E/H.

Re: Elephant House Auctions
I see the Elephant House has now added a pix of the Checkmate for sale in the auction. It seems to be a non jackpot version, but has a chess symbol marquee/embossing to the top right corner and has different lower centre marquee to other non jackpot versions and, interestingly, has chess symbol reel...
