Re: Harpoon or Shaft ???

Hi Gameswat: Great question as to why my friend Ken Rubin never fell into that category which I faulted in my post. The main thrust of my post were those Whales who make a display of their wealth. They try to intimidate the little guys by their manner of bidding which is explained in my post. ROGER

Hi Moonriver.......
Way back on July 8, 2023 you posted that ROGER should not be taken too seriously.

Your latest post (above) sure sounds like you are not following your own advice. ROGER

A few years ago...

I have fond memories of playing SKEE_BALL machines at the local Penny Arcade
I recently found this smaller version which was designed for small arcades and home use.

STOOL PIGEON

Mr P came up with U.S. code 18, Section 1343 and wants to send me to the slammer for bidding on my own machines.

This carries a sentence of 20 years and if my math is right I'll be 117 when you see my next posting

Harpoon or Shaft ???

There are two kinds of Whales....One swims in the ocean and gets harpooned. whale.jpg The other whale flaunts his wealth at an auction and gets shafted... Dealers circle them like a pack of wolves. money man.jpg I hate the Whale bidder who extends his paddle in the air for the entire bidding process...

Re: Machine Conversions

Gameswat posted that he purchased old pre-decimal English slots in the United States with specific reference to the large English penny machines. The conversion to the U.S. 50 cts presented a problem because of the difference in thickness between the two coins. I had a standing order with part suppl...

Machine Conversions

British slot machines flooded the American market when coinage converted to decimal in 1971. Prices fell to a speck over the shipping cost. Collectors in the U.S.A. took advantage of this situation by buying the pre-decimal machines and converting them to U.S. currency. One airline pilot I know. who...

estate home.jpg Jasper Sanfilippo passed away a few years ago in Chicago leaving a tremendous collection of Coin-Ops housed in this gorgeous home. Let's put it this way...He did not take in boarders. He always managed to squeeze in another All-Win as money or space was of no concern. Surely, Jasper...
