Re: Groetchen 21
I recently bought this trade stimulator off EBay. s-l1600.jpg On stripping it down I found it to be a Groetchen Twenty One, but the gum mechanism was removed and professionally blocked up as with the coin inspection hole (the holes were not drilled or tapped). The button holes below the reel glass w...

You can normally pick these up at the Elephant House auctions in Coventry or wait till November and go to the Vintage Amusements Auction.

Groetchen Ginger Trade Stimulator Strips
I am restoring a Groetchen Ginger Trade Stimulator.
The right hand reel strip has pieces missing and as I intend to recreate the strip I need to know the sequence of this strip [or it will not payout correctly].
Can anyone help?

Re: brooklands bolts
I think they were called blind security screws. On eBay they have M3 :- BUTTON HEAD SECURITY 6 LOBE PIN TX TORX ANTI VANDAL, SCREW bolts.jpg They should do the trick. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M3-A2-BUTTON-HEAD-SECURITY-6-LOBE-PIN-TX-TORX-ANTI-VANDAL-SCREW-BOLT-BIKE-/201135769355?var=&hash=item2...

Cub Trade Stimulator Damper
Hi there I'm restoring a Cub Gum Ball trade stimulator. As there is no damper to stop the reels slowly, I intend to make one. My question is:- Does anyone know what type of piston is inside? i.e. Solid or perforated to allow oil to flow slowly? I've include a library photo of the part concerned. Man...

Love Test Machine Project
I was getting bored, so I looked for a restoration project, I fancied the “Greyhound Stadium” which was on EBay but the location was Kent (too far to go!!). So I settled for the “Love Test” machine on EBay. I started by checking resources pages for ideas as to how to operate the machine, as there we...

Bargain of the Day
I went to my local market/boot fair this morning and came across this Allwin door for £20, it looks like it was on half penny and has been crudely altered to take pennies.
I think it could be a BM Co, machine, perhaps someone can confirm?
I'll let you know how I get on with restoration.

Re: Jentzsch & Meerz Simplex catcher
Hi there I thought I'd give you an update on the project. I used the back board as a template but because the bottom was missing, I had to jiggle about all the parts until I got it to work. I replaced a lot of the rusty levers. I managed to save the original lock by drilling out the tumblers [as loc...
