Ruffler & Walker Helicopter Race
As posted by JC, the pictures from the Bygones Vintage Arcade under the MMM section, I noticed the Helicopter game in the background, there is a Ruffler and Walker Helicopter Race machine on ebay at the moment, unfortunately in the States ....serious $$ though. http://cgi.ebay.com/rare-Ruffler-Walke...

Re: Which clown?
I have joined many others and recently bought a Clown Catcher myself, being mainly a bandit person previously, I have started to get more into wall machines, especially these sweet small machines like below. Had to travel a long way to bid blind at a small country auction and of course one of my fel...

Coin-A-Cig, Super Selecta & Win-A-Cig
A couple of machines posted this evening, one looks like a Wonders machine without the coin entry, called "Skill" and listed as Ruffler and Walker. I could not see one on the Wonders list, but there is an Eight Cup machine without a picture. !PUZZLED! The cabinet looks Wonders. Also, it ap...

Re: CAM AUTOMATICS?
Once I got the design ready, I desided on the finished size and converted it to PDF, I took the PDF to our local print shop and had it laser printed onto white crack-back plastic, (sticky back plastic), I stuck this print to a sheet of 3mm glass, I then put a second sheet of 3mm glass over the prin...

Re: New Steve Hunt auctions
To be honest, some machines were rough or needed restoration or had had restoration. E.g. the Fivewin was a mess, I can only assume it was some kind of rare version with the price it raised. The Hawtins needed restoration......The two Bryans Bullions both had very very fresh paint, the lower priced ...

Re: Aristocrat - Magnet in Coin Entry
I was initially confused by this question, so had a look at one of my machines... on these models the magnet sits in a little pod at the back of the coin mechanism. I believe all Aristocrat magnets are the same and just sit loose in the their settings, so in theory you should be able to tap or lever...

Re: Bulk Purchase
I wonder if BP's machine is original and the one above was a vendor option with reel stops, which may explain the knob on the lower right side and the large coin/vendor tray... also the front looks like vendor windows?

Bryans or not Bryans
Below is the second example recently advertising an allwin as a Bryans machine, but although the corner cabinet hardware features and general theme of being a fivewin look right, the gantry is different and certainly the cabinet is wrong....were Bryans machines copied or is this just someone making ...

I did wonder whether it had something to do with the Roll-Out-The-Barrel machine or the Domino with knob/accuator on the front, another revamp possibly... What is the window on the left for?

Re: Bulk Purchase
Nice one BP, one day, one day, I will hit the jackpot... trouble is, everytime I think there is a chance, I find I have just missed out, either through someone else got there first or the stuff was disposed of.... Tonight having just driven all the way down to the South coast for a machine, the chap...

Re: Easy Perm
I can just see what Gameswat has mentioned as the arms bends upwards on its side, instead of straight across. The trigger looks like a replacement as well as the lower coin shute made on simple tin bent and cut to shape. The other machine he is selling has an overflow plate mentioned that is missing...

Re: Advice for a new collector
Gameswat, the problem is the finish should be smooth. I am not sure what the casting on these are made of, I assume some kind of soft alloy, but original paint jobs are flat and an even finish and your right not gloss.. I have seen a lot of peoples machines completed with a heavy gloss finish that j...
