It so happens that I will probably be in Coventry on the evening of the 11th so I could stop over for the auction the next day... perfect! Nothing to sell I'm afraid (except perhaps a nice Mutoscope that doesn't really fit in with my collection) but I'll certainly have a bid if there's anything that...

R&W supplied Tick-Tock
I've just received a Bryans Tick-Tock which I won a couple of weeks ago on ebay. I'm curious about the "Supplied by Ruffler & Walker" badge on the front (see pic). Were R&W agents for Bryans or did they deal in used machines perhaps? Pardon my ignorance but I'm just curious about t...

The Greyhound Racer
Regarding the Greyhound Racer just sold on ebay (Item no: 6243511953). Just curious but was anybody else surprised that this machine sold for over £4.5K or is this a fairly reasonable price?

A standard pinball cabinet is around 56cm wide so that shouldn't be a problem. The heads are wider of course but are easily removed, you just need to unplug a few connectors that join the cab to the head (my 1972 Bally Fireball has just three connectors in the head to unplug). The head can then be u...

Not really my area of expertise this but IIRC most machines should be OK down to around 210 volts. Some machines are more sensitive than others though... I used to have a Twilight Zone that rebooted every time my wife turned on the washing machine! She did it first time I ever got to the wizard mode...

The switch error is unlikely to be related to the reset problem. The software will have reported that switch 56 hasn't been activated for a while and is advising you to check it. It could be a faulty or badly adjusted switch or simply that you have not made that particular shot for a long time. Not ...
