Re: Dewag Coin heads for American bandits advert
Compared to a normal gooseneck the part is really massive. I plan to build up a Mills FOK to present the coin head. DSCN5601.JPG Treefrog, here's a really weird machine from the '30s. Scream!!! Picture with kind approval by Deutsches Automatenmuseum CoppelStandardDt. Dreiwalzenunbekannt.jpg

Re: Dewag Coin heads for American bandits advert
In late '20s/early '30s American slots were imported to Europe in large amounts. In Germany were some manufacturers who built up smashed slot machines by using their own spare parts. At this time the German coin heads appear. I mainly collect all Dewag machines and products, so I'm glad to own this ...

Re: Jentzsch & Meerz Giganta
It's a "La Roulette" type "Modeste".
The wooden case seemed to be attacked by fairground cowboys and woodworms. It was hard work to remove the paint.
Already a lot of work.

Re: Time to ........
Hi BP!
Here is a nice one:
Omega by Jentzsch & Meerz with Mint vendor, 1 to 24 payout, brake system, brake control (if brake not used...no payout)....cast iron front.
I had 6 in stock, 3 are wrecked now. The cranks allmost missing so i cast some in brass.

Re: Time to ........
It´s time for wrecking a couple of german "crank"-type slots to generate spare parts for following projects.
I'm waiting for parts to restore a coin operated '30s shooting range. Some things are not so easy available here in Germany at the moment...

Re: La Puce, French cascade type
No, I mainly collect German machines, these are mostly nice sized. But there are some bigger German machines. If you compare, left "Die bunte Kaskade", a standard size. On the right is "Mammut" a big German with 7 dropcases: KaskadeMammut.JPG Now compare the "Mammut" wi...

Re: La Puce, French cascade type
I try to answer your questions. - I'm sorry, but I don't sale any of my machines, I'm a little bit crazy in this case. If you really wanna buy this type of machine, check out the well known traders (Werner from Belgium, Lourens from Netherland....) or use, specially for German machines, the "Fl...

Re: Domino / Lucky Dice / Le Juge de Paix
Several were converted back in the 1980s using photocopied artwork which reproduces a distinctive stain across the top of the background (marked in red in the pic). Colour photocopying was not as good then as it is today and they lack the fine detail of the originals. Here is the original unused '8...

La Puce, French cascade type
I mainly collect German cascade-type machines, but there are also a lot of „foreigner“ in my collection. There are these French cascade machines called „La Puce“, I own several versions. Manufacturer could be H. Derouin from Paris. Machines have a tax plate marked with 1933 and work on 25 centimes. ...

Re: C.M. Schwarz Tura
It`s not easy to answer that question. I had some discussions with other collectors in the past. I think Tura used Mills parts, as far they were available, and complete with own parts. Missing parts were produced in Germany. There were different workshops in the Tura factory building: Paintshop, joi...
