Re: New additions to my collection

Long time between posts. Been busy with other things sadly.

Finally made some headway with a shed extension and in the process of bringing all my machines home from storage.

Re: Streets Shooter Conversion

Awesome work. I have a few projects that are in the undecided column - rebuild the crusty old dangerous internals or update. It is great to see it being done

Re: Battery Operated Vintage Mini Pinball

That’s an interesting machine I’ve never seen one exactly like that, but lots of '30s pins had batteries. Hopefully someone has more info for you?

Re: New additions to my collection

Lovely mutoscope. Is it all original? The mutoscope was restored many many years ago by the late Bob Klepner (forum member Bob). Not sure to what extent, but after its restoration it was sited at a pancake parlour restaurant and then sold to a museum in country Victoria, which is where I bought it ...

It’s a love meter - select your birth month with the knob; insert your penny in the slide mech; a bell rings and it selects a random bit of BS. Hot, cold, sloppy, etc.

Gorgeous pin - they sure had good taste back then. My 1934 Exhibit Rebound always gets so many compliments and plays compared to the more modern pinballs.

Re: Arcades, Museums & Gamerooms

Get rid of that sofa and get some more machines. Hahahaha - the couch has been on the chopping block for a long time, but when you buy machines you should have a back up place to sleep - always handy. Shed extensions on the cards, and hopefully then I’ll finally be able to fit the rest of my ...

Re: Chester Pollard Play Golf

Some great videos Pennymachines. Interesting that he only thinks there were 50-60 Play Golfs made.

And yes, looking at my playfield, the only holes in the table are the 3 main holes and the few holes in the brook. I’ll try get some photos of the internals next rime it’s open.

Yes I have the original cashbox. I’ll try remember to get the measurement for you. The switches are held in place by a nut type thing - hard to see in the photos but there’s a threaded ring holding it in place.

Re: Chester Pollard Play Golf

Yeah disgusting conversion that pinball one. I've also seen them with extra lose holes drilled into the playfield so you lose faster.

Thankfully, none of that going on with mine.
