Terrific photos!

Thanks for the great photos. I can see that I have my work cut out for me (although not yet.) This site is simply the best of its kind. Passion for this hobby shows through in all the support you members consistently demonstrate for one another. Thank you to one and all. John Peterson, USA

Brenner "Ball Past The Arrow"

I can attest that this is a "real" Clock by Bryans. By that, I mean that I personally saw this machine in 2001 in Los Angeles when I purchased the Glenn Collection. Since I already owned a 12 Win, I did not purchase this game. At the time, I was bowled over by the diversity of the other 60...

I noticed there were items which failed to sell. This suggests there were reserves that were not met. The prices realized seemed to track the pre-auction estimates for the most part which I thought were on the low side. This suggests some possible concerns over condition of various pieces. Anyone wh...

Cheeky, You've started a great idea, searching for the most colorful allwin. As an offshoot, I've started a new thread in a parallel vein dealing with the HAND PAINTED ALLWINS. Come on folks, get out those digital cameras!

Hand Painted Allwins

Cheeky's posting ("HAVE A GO" allwins - Who made it?) about the most colorful allwins got me thinking. How about a showing of the backflashes which were painted by naive artists as aftermarket alterations to the traditional allwins? In an attempt to refresh the appearance of aging machines...

Cheeky, Although the trigger (thumb hammer) does not look like the standard Whales piece, according to "Arcades And Slot Machines" by Paul Braithwaite (available from your friendly Site Administrator in the "library" section) this game is a proud offering from Mr. Whales in the m...

Hi Cheeky, You have an excellent multi-pay allwin produced by Oliver Whales starting in 1955. The backflash art is most engaging. These games are extremely reliable and fun to play. And Seasons Greeting from the USA, too!

Re: Sports Allwin identified

Take a look at Lot number 51 in the Costa Collection to be auctioned next month at Christies and you will see this same game. The link is available now on the "Home" page under the "Latest" listings at the top. The game is identified as "Allsport" by the Automatic Skill...
