Re: 'Travel Round the World' pinball on ebay

Batteries were really popular in 1934 pinball machines and by 1935 manufacturers were trying kind of wonky layouts like this one. I think it was a way to showcase the kicker action, but it really tends to just limit the playfield. One of the most sought-after of this kind of games would be Chicago E...

Re: Bell Fruit Cascade

Many Happy Returns is definitely up there. In the same genre, a Samsons' Challenger (or Mini Challenger) would be cool. I wouldn't want Yours To Be Won though, I'm not into stuff with tobacco references. But I specifically want The Hat Trick because it has that physical variable chance that can be a...

Re: Bell Fruit Cascade

well done !! whats next? !PUZZLED! As far as European machines go, I now have a Cascade, Rialto, Win A Spangles, and a Ballwin Deluxe. Aside from a full-sized Nordic pajatso machine, there are only a few other European machines I'm looking for to the point where I'd pay the serious shipping premium...

Re: Bell Fruit Cascade

I remember reading 1972 somewhere, but now I can't verify. Does anyone know for sure? Seems odd considering it wasn't that long ago compared to some machines we all collect. :didact: with American pinball you can often trace dates to manufacturer press releases and ads in trade magazines. Does the U...

Oh man that thing is so quaint and simple compared to American bingo machines. Just adorable.

What's that wide vertical machine at the center of the photograph?

Also I'm confused by the sign that says

Thank you! This has been a great history lesson.
Can you give me links for Werner and Lourens?

Do you stick to these more reasonable German models or do you also collector the larger Finnish pajatso machines too?

Does anyone have a gameplay video of this machine, or one with a similar mechanism? Curious as to the operation.

Re: Tin Pan Alley

Let's hope it has gone to someone who appreciates it, and not some Philistine who thinks it's OK to airbrush history to fit in with his own narrow viewpoint. Some people just don't want really racist stuff in their collection. We see this all the time in pinball collecting: Lots of great old games ...

Re: La Puce, French cascade type

I love these Cascade-style machines so much. Any chance you'd sell one of them? Happy to pay the international shipping. I saw a thread on pinside and a guy posted a photo from the basement of a German bar and I spotted a Wulff Totomat in the storage. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/woodrail...

Check out this blinged out variant! Posted on a Facebook group, owner asked me to post them here. Apparently converted to American pennies, and has NYC written on the inside? Stained glass trim! I am assuming no way the paint or glass is original ;) Any thoughts? I kind of like its flamboyant style.

Re: My Youtube channel most popular machine

Funny story: This Cascade video is partially popular because I was sending it around to people. I sent it to over 20 people as an example of the game in my quest to try and find someone to sell me one! I failed. No one has come to sell me a Cascade yet (and ship it to Canada) and I'm super bummed ab...
