Re: Applying Vinyl Lettering
Many thanks for sharing this technique with the forum and I am sure it will be useful to many of us for various projects, however, and only a personal opinion, I think I would have not bothered and just left it without the lettering. The inner artwork on this machine I really like but that manufactu...

Re: Aristocrat Olympic
OP has another thread on his Sega Continental requesting an award card. I told him I have one he can have free of charge and he's coming Thursday. As a result, I have also discussed his issue with his Aristocrat. The machine I believe still has the topbox artwork for Lucky Pennies so he's keen to ge...

Re: Elephant House Auctions
I didn't go to the last auction. The one before, I think the Bonus hammer price was just over 900, so I presume the reserve is/was a grand or more. At least that Sega Hitop case and Mills backdoor are now sold!

Re: Sega Continental South Seas
I managed to grab a picture of the Continental bits I have left. The chrome payout tray is pretty good too and the coin entry bits are still there in a box with other bits. Let me know if the award card is one you were looking for.

Re: Sega Continental South Seas
I think I have one. I'll try and locate it over the weekend for you. If I find it you can have it, no charge. I may have all the window glass too, so let me know if yours is in good condition or not. It may be better to swap the whole lot. I'll let you know over the weekend. I was out collecting in ...

Re: Mills Novelty Poker Hand 5 Reel Slot Machine the Jockey
i saw the merkur and saw that there was no online bidding
wasnt titled well enough to attract the widest audience so
thought there well may be a low priced opportunity for someone
so well done, hopefully the other bidder didnt push you too hard.

Re: Mills Novelty Poker Hand 5 Reel Slot Machine the Jockey
only saw this very late last night and had no info
from the auctioneers, i was on a rare trip out today
was in herts collecting & was tempted to carry on down
but in the end decided to turn back and get back home
from your account TF probably made the right decision.

Re: Price for Jennings Club?
I can well imagine that the seller received many offers, even well before the item was actually listed in auction. I never offered a price outside of the auction but as it's a rare set of castings, particularly in the UK and with a complete working mechanism, (although not 4 reeler) in a solid wood ...

Re: Price for Jennings Club?
take all the advice then make the right decision for you. and i think i could live with the chrome on that jennings. however, if it came home with me, that x3 reel mech and that blue and white award card would be out in a flash & my spare x4 reel mech would be slipped right in along with a nice ...

Re: Price for Jennings Club?
Devon knows where he lives..... Pity there wasn't a dozen of them all in different colours. Platers these days usually want to see what you want plated then the price usually doubles when they see them or they suddenly decide it's not worth the hassle... so tread carefully. If its cheap it will usua...
